Thanks for trying - honestly I don't know the answer to that atm... if you have a root explorer type file manager please check in /Cache, /Data, /Data/Data, it might even be on the root of the internal SD. I wish I knew the answer. I sincerely appreciate your willingness to help.
The only file I can find is dlpkgfile in the /cache folder.
It's the only file with today's date on my tablet.
OK, got it. renamed it to update.zip and it definitely looks like the update file.
Gonna upload it now.
Awesome thanks so much. I guess I'll be the guinea pig for people on 11.1 attempting to upgrade lol.

I can't update right now but I'm curious if they fixed Ad-Hoc tethering. Could someone test please?
update downloaded.. not rooted yet and have not proceeded with update.. should I root and use rootkeeper before updating? If the bootloader unlock is released then keeping root in not a issue right? Until that comes the only thing I see is doing the ad-hoc mod. I have already set my phone in a mode that works without doing that.. any other good reasons to root and maintain for now I should consider? thanks
Because they don't know yet what it does fix, simples.
They're waiting for the results coming from the beta testers...US
My wifi is completely dead now.
Won't even turn on.
Before buying this tablet all I ever heard about Asus is their great support for their devices...
Yeah...
Growing a bit tired of this

Update - Thanks to a few members who provided detailed information about their setups, application installs and other items we were able to replicate the sleep/battery drain issues affecting several users. We have a new firmware image going through qualification testing now and will present this to Google shortly for approval. At this point, if the firmware passes qualification testing, we should be able to release it early next week or sooner.
