So has anyone ever been able to get the Touchstone mod to work with the Verizon I535?

PS I know the Palm transmitter/receiver don't work with Qi. That's why I posted the link.

Touchstone, qi, and powermat are NOT inter operable because they are different technologies. To those who want to do a simple and cheap touchstobe mod, kook at ny signature as I have done it. It is very easy and cheap but ib the end I ditched it for QI due to its limitation. Qi allows me to use thick cases and it charges a little quicker.

I've already mentioned this a long time ago in the stickied thread in this forum, but as nm8 said, none of the 3 "standards" are inoperable.
You CAN make the touchstone mod work on any sgs3. just make sure your leads are isolated properly and done cleanly, but again, do not expect it to work w/ a Qi transmitter.

As of now, I know that alot of touchstone mods work just fine (including NFC) while some of the premade touchstone mod somehow screws w/ nfc.
All the Qi mods i've seen so far that are small pads you insert between the battery and cover works with NFC.

It's up to you what you want to do, but any would work just fine.

For all of you that are tired of this thread with it's never ending arguements about Qi versus whatever, come over to mine. The water's warm and inviting.

I am thinking of doing the touchstone mod. Does it charge well on standard tpu and hard cases? Do the stock magnets on the touchstone hold well with a case on?

How fast does it charge per hour and would u recommended just paying double for a 3000mah battery? (Had my eye on that too)

check the post that you quoted and ask your question there. there should be pictures there that shows the ratings.
