[Q] Help! I think I have corrupted my /data partition!
Recently I decided to run my first custom ROM on my S2, I was already rooted but wanted to try Cyanogenmod 10.2 out. I successfully installed Clockworkmod recovery 22.214.171.124 using Odin on my computer. From this I used "install zip from sdcard" to install Cyanogenmod, which was installed on the external memory card.
In the guide I was following, I was nearly finished and simply had to wipe my data and cache partition using "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe cache partition".
When wiping my data partition it said "formatting /data" endlessly, after about 5 minutes of no action it eventually rebooted and hung on the S2 logo (As it would do if the data partition were not formatted)
I was confused at this point and read around and eventually got to the conclusion that I may have a corrupt file system in the /data partition. Since then I have followed the entire guide seen here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ight=phistacio
without any success.
I can still boot into recovery and update mode, I can also get the battery symbol while charging. I cannot flash ROMS through Odin but can flash other things.
Have I bricked my S2? Is this fixable?
I am going go to bed shortly after posting this, so I am unable to reply until tomorrow. I hope I have provided enough information.
