First of all make a copy of every bloatware app. Put it in a backup folder on your SD card or something. Then you can either use titanium backup and just freeze each app or use root explorer and actually delete them from /system/app and /vendor. Be careful.

Download Titanium backup, make a backup and then delete all the bloatware from within Titanium

I am in the same situation and just want to be clear so I don't run into problems down the road.

Rooted on JB, through Ti did a backup of all user apps and system data.

So if I now go and uninstall bloatware etc. through Ti and accidentally uninstall something I shouldn't I can just restore the backup I made and be OK. Correct?

Also, down the road if a miracle 4.2 ota comes out I would need to restore all factory apps I uninstalled to update without problems. Correct?

Never rooted without unlocked bootloader before and used to just doing a NANDroid backup as a failsafe.

Yes. Its easier to just freeze the bloat ware though and defrost when needed.

Isn't that the same as using the disable function already in the JB ROM?

Similar but not the same and easier to unfreeze if we get an official ota update as oppose to restoring. And you can't accidentally delete something you need.
