There is a wifi connection named "calljpbroadband" in my locality...

when i try to connect to it with my laptop.. it asks for username and password
so i enter my username and password and it gets connected..

but when i try to connect to same network with my android phone....my phone wont ask for any username and password
and it wont connect either.. :crying:

when i tap and hold on this wifi network id...there are three options

Connect to network
Forget network
Modify network

I tried to search something helpful in those options but no luck..

Then I tried to connect to the same network from my friend's android phone(xperia T2) ...and the same thing happened
it wont connect on that phone either..

Please help me..
Is this a different type of wifi network?
Is this network only for laptops??

I searched on Google for this problem but couldn't find anything..

So please help..I would be grateful..

When your pc connnect to the network, try remembering the IP ( You can find it out using ipconfig )
And then try to force it while connecting with your phone using 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 as DNS servers.
Maybe it will work then.
