HD Dock and OS (Kernel)

Hi guys!

I hope one of you guys is using the HD dock!

I have found that my device gets a bit warm, when its docked.
The speed is fairly okay (I am using gingerbread 2.3.6 , 1GHZ kernel)

If i flash a 1.45 GHZ kernel, will the webtop perform better? Will it harm my device?

Some info or a tip will be appreciated!

I'm running it at 1.45 at the moment.. it gets hot as well. I think its likely more related to the screen constantly being on vs the CPU.... I wish there was a way to disable to screen...

Cool thanks, are you using the HD dock? Hows your battery life on the 1.45 Kernel? (Average use?)

Yes, I am using an HD Dock. With the 1.45 kernel (Eternity Project) I get about 18 hours of average use.
