here is the way to decrease battery drain
1. disable all unused app and bloatware go to setting>application>all and disable unused app
2. lower your brightness manually..screen brightness is the most cause of battery drain
3. disable automatic sync..sync manually when needed

What should I do I install Rom just does not help anything is always the most necessary screen percent.
try factory reset
for battery it really depend on your usage..if you think your usage is not that much but the battery draining faster than it should...it probably the battery issue.
try check your battery. if get any swollen or defect, change your battery
