I wondered why I was missing messages friends said they'd left. Turns out I had eleven voicemail messages waiting. Guess that's why its not called 'stable' :) Hope its an easy (and quick) fix.

Try going into your dialer / settings / voicemail and check the message wait indicator. Should work.

I was looking for it in system settings, totally didn't even think to go into the dialer settings. I feel like a noob.

Is anybody not getting VM alerts from the last ROM sbrissen posted?

Should I be on a newer nightly? Or is that still the most updated ROM with the various GPS and BT fixes?

Where is this unofficial build posted?

So I built my own unofficial M3 and included the new GPS fix but couldn't get anything better than a 20 meter lock (in my brief testing). I'll keep trying it and report back if it gets any better.

@sbrissen did you get full functionality when you tested it? One thing I haven't tried yet is to wipe data, so I'll make a backup and try it out now

Edit: on a clean flash, still can't get better than a 20 meter lock. In addition, on a build from 4/11, CWM now gives status 7 errors; is this because of the changes concerning t0lte and its variants?

Edit 2: I should clarify, this is on CWM Touch 6.0.3.0

Edit 3: Reverting to CWM 6.0.2.5 got rid of the status 7 errors. Still testing the new GPS fix to see if it works for me

Are we not getting a M3 BUILD? Sorry if this has already been asked.

Here is a build I just finished with the new GPS fix in it. It is current as of 8AM CST on 4/12/13. If people are feeling adventurous and want to test it out so we have a bigger user base to report on whether it's working for them, make a backup and post back!

MD5: c5a7c66100b42061522219a7d506ae46

(It goes without saying that this is a personal test build and as such, is not verified by CM, and is unsupported by me or anyone else. Just looking for whether the GPS fix works for others)

Anybody reporting back on this yet? I should have time to test later.

rebooting into new rom now....

... turning on wifi location...

... and GPS Status still spins forever, saying looking for GPS location. As soon as I turned wifi location off, GPS Status finds my location easily. So, maybe I'm misunderstanding the problem this fix was supposed to fix, but it looks to me like it's not working

I was actually posting one up while I was at work and got side tracked and forgot to hit submit. should be up tomorrow.

Edit: meant to quote strikeir13 here, not sbrissen. So, to clarify, the rom I loaded was strikeir's, not sbrissen

Works for me. I had to turn 4g off to get a lock at first but after I got the first lock I could turn 4g back on (even after reboot) and still get a lock (took about 30 seconds):good:

*EDIT* Guess I spoke too soon. Didn't work with "Wi-Fi & mobile network location" enabled. Bummer.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.2 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Progress is being made. My 10.2 builds are compiling OK now. I can flash and boot to the homescreen but anything I try to launch causes a soft reboot.
Mine do the same and I have no cell signal. I think I messed up loading the props. Let me know if you make any progress or maybe slickrick will shine some light on the subject
Pick these 4 commits and you should be good.

Thank you sbrissen for developing for this awesome device and all of our donators who made it possible! None of this would have happened without you guys :)

You will lose S Pen and other Touchwiz functionality if you flash this but here is how you can get some of that functionality back!
    1. S Pen works (try out the app Papyrus as a replacement to S Note, Papyrus does utilize the S Pen button as well).
    2. Air View works (Go to settings, Language & input, check "Show icon when using stylus".
    3. The S Pen button works (Go to settings, Language & input, Stylus gestures, those all use the s pen button).
    4. Pop up browser = OverSkreen from the Google Play Store.
    5. I use the 4.2 Camera on Touchwiz anyway. There are plenty of good camera apps in the market if you want more features.
    6. Multiwindow. There is no alternative, dont ask.
And here's some alternatives to Touchwiz apps (PM me if you want me to add something!)
    Code:
    [URL="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myboyfriendisageek.stickit"]Stick it! (Pop-up Player)[/URL]
[URL="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clov4r.android.nil&hl=en"]MoboPlayer[/URL]- It's another very capable, free video player with floating player functionality. Plus its free!

DO NOT USE 20121011 GAPPS OR YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES, USE 20121212 GAPPS.

If you want to downgrade back to a 4.1.x ROM, flash the restore-sdcard-after-downgrade.zip attached below AFTER flashing back to 4.1.x ROM. Your storage situation will be how it was pre-CM10.1 flash. Thanks to madmack for the file.

alright, I'm good with the phone logs. I submitted a change for speaker phone and it got merged so tonight's should have MOAR VOLUMEZ on speaker.

Still working on BT and gps.

and still looking for logs of apps where the mic isn't working.

I'll be starting a cm10.2 thread shortly. For anyone thinking of flashing back to 10.1, not going to happen unless you do a clean install so backup first! A couple databases were updated and cannot be reverted.
