Hi, I sent my phone to HTC for RMA. It is already back with mainboard and display replaced and statement that original MB was burnt out. It comes with Gingerbread 2.3.3 installed. Now I'm trying to downgrade to Froyo and root it, but I hava a problem with installing Froyo PC10IMG.zip image. It flashes successfully without any error but after the reboot there is still original Gingerbread 2.3.3 up.

Details about Gb:

system version: 2.3.3
sense version: 2.1
baseband version: 12.56.60.25U_26.10.04.03_M

kernel: 2.6.32.10-g53a84f9

build:
2.42.405.4 CL 192788 release-keys

software version:
2.42.405.4

Any ideas how to downgrade? I have followed steps from this GUIDE

I have tried it also. There is a reference to the PC10IMG.zip image, which is incompatible with my phone CID.

Either you used gfree wrong or your phone is one of the ones that needs a gold Card to change the CID and unlock.

I don't have a problem with rooting. I have problem with downgrading from Gingerbread to the rootable Froyo. I have found correct PC10IMG.zip image which is compatible with my CID. But after the flash process phone boots back to the Gingerbread rom.
