[Q] Captivate as a DAP

My old Samsung captivate is just sitting in my drawer at home gathering dust and I wanna put it to good use!

After seeing the release of the 128GB microSD card, I'm considering using it to replace my 120GB iPod.

A few questions first tho :

-Does it support USB audio out? Currently I'm running SlimBean on it, and I have a Fiio E18 portable amp/DAC, and I'd like to use it with the cappy as a USB DAC

-Can the Captivate take microSDHC cards?

-Are there any ROMs I can flash that would remove access to the cellular bands?

Check out the ROM called Captivate Touch,

This is a no phone, "Touch" version of CM10.1 stable for the Samsung Captivate, based on my previous work with ICS and GB roms. I have removed the APKs from the ROM that control phone functions and most of the cell signal icons. The dialer is still there, but the phone does not work, INCLUDING 911 CALLS."Secret Codes" work through the dialer.

I recall original specs quoting upto 32Gb sdhc cards. In one thread I saw reference to successful use of a 64Gb card, after the poster reformatted the card from exfat to fat32. http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=31616788&postcount=8
