Hello!

I could not find any Klick-related posts in Q&A and Accessory Forum so I decided post it in here (so someone who is interest in Klick on g2 can access info here)

Today I have received a MiKey bought from
http://www.tinydeal.com/35mm-qihoo-360-klick-quick-button-dustproof-plug-jack-plug-p-128754.html

However, it does not work on my G2 (D802T - international version, Australia) - stock firmware 4.4.2 non rooted.
Whenever I click the button, it gives out no response.
I have tried MiKey app and Klick app installed and tested individually.

It works on my old Galaxy S2 (hongkong model - rooted omni rom latest version) although sometimes the click is recognised as Volume down/up key.

I downloaded Key Test app from http://xdaforums.com/nexus-4/general/guide-headset-controls-t1997277 and when I press the Klick button on g2, it does not show any key input.

Do I have to root or install MiUI in order to use Klick? or does G2 have different headphone input sockey?

Thanks for reading guys!

Have you disabled Headphone Plug And Pop ?
That might be interfering.

Thanks for the reply.
I dropped my G2 and now I cannot use it to test it.

I disabled the Headphone pop-up thing but I need to double-check (and also I need to make sure if I have disabled music player button control)

Thank you very much for the reply again and I will update if I make it through (After fixing my screen :crying:)

I'm not sure about the G2 and the headphone compability. I had a LG G2x and none of the headset quick buttons would work for (skip, play/pause, prev). Supposedly LG likes to reverse the pins and sell special models. However I don't think this is the case with the G2 because my headphone buttons seem to work.

This is a sweet idea though. I never use my headset port. I've thought about grabbing a plug to keep the dust out but this is slick.

Mine works fine, but I should say that I'm on the VZW build of BeanStalk. Downloaded the Klick app right from Google Play. It has english built in, so there's no language issues.

That's rough
Do you plan on fixing it yourself or are you sending it to LG
Wish you quick recovery...:p

It should work out of the box for basic stuff but you need the Klick App. Mine seemed unresponsive and I think I had to reboot with it in.

I think I had to go and uninstall "Google Search" for it to actually install though. Kinda weird.

I got the Klick app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.helloklick.android&hl=en

But does not seem to detect anything. I will try a different ROM and see if that fixes it. I am using Mahdi rom right now
