it is much faster than v6 .
I tested myui rom and it is just Chinese version of stock .
Baidu48 is a good rom for daily use with the custom kernel I think.

I can install gApps with Nokia Toolkit, but doesn't appear on drawer or home screen. Then tried to download Google Play Store apk and install manually, but always failed every time I run this app. I hope on next release gApps will work normally. :fingers-crossed:

More or less like lewa and miui.. got similar function, but i feel that it is faster than lewa, much smoother.. this supposedly to be official, i got the link from baiduos site.

rom only got chinese and english language. by default not swapping internal and external like lewa, but can choose to do so in settings. no navbar at bottom of screen like lewa instead it uses floating virtual button that u can move around. also need to flash gapps if u want googleplay, gmail, youtube etc working.

I have been using the Beta 49 rom for 2 days now. very nice..smooth and fast...not laggy. also whatsapp official and new fb app works just fine. no more using whatsapp plus. however...had to remove all chinese bloats using link2sd...activated the soft nav keys using build.prop..

Baidu OS and Mini ROM are by far the best here. You should check them out both.
I prefer the Mini ROM as it is much more stable.
but installing roms we have mentioned have you a significant performance increasing?
The phone changes or the only advantage is the possibility to install apps like whatsapp and Facebook?
It's not my priority.
If the phone does not improve, I'll sell it.
Yes, there is a lot of improvement. And they not only allow you to install apps, they make the device much smoother, faster and efficient. Especially the MiniROM.
