I am owning a rooted Motorola Xoom running JB 4.2, and planning to flash a new KK 4.4 rom on it. On the thread (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2506997), it suggests that version 2.6.3 of TWRP must be flashed first, I downloaded a zip file already and found out it contains sub folder with a couple of files inside. The img file is named recovery.img. Should I extract the img file first? Last time I flashed TWRP over CWM by use of Recovery Tools app from Play store, but the img is a standalone file.
