Yes, it doesn't solve them, but i got no wifi reboot since i flashed the rom.

Underclocking the cpu to 120MHz can be the reason for 10s lag on WakeUp. Try to set bigger minimum cpu speed with SetCPU or cmdline.

I set cpu freq to standard 600MHz with SetCpu and lags have gone (600MHz max and mode set to 'performance'). Thanks a lot ogo2!

I tried CM 7.1.0 final (few days ago) and did not experience wifi reboots. But Android CM version is now 2.3.7. I wonder if we can user CM kernel in RC4b...

Hi to all, esspecialy OGO2, I've been following this thread for a few weeks now, I found out about this ROM on the HTC Legend facebook page.
In actual fact, it was this ROM that really made me want to root my stock Legend, my wife has a Desire HD and recently got Gengerbread 2.3.2 then the 2.3.3 update and i was hooked...

I've been using Ogo's rom for a while now, I do like it quite a lot, I haven't yet done the a2sd patch, however I have also used CM 7.1.0 for a while too and used darktremors scripts which worked well.

The only thing I was really wondering about is that this ROM uses a LOT of rom space on my phone, I want to remove as much bloat as i can from the rom.
As i found out, there is not enough rom space left in my rom to patch dartremors a2sd.
Can someone please put up a list of "safe" apk's that can be removed from the rom space without causing problems??? i know apks like facebook.apk and the facebook wiget apk's should be ok to removed with out too many issues, I only use facecaster on my phone anyway.

Thanks and great job, can't wait to try out the next version :)

I'm posting this question here, as it is directly related to this ROM only (so far).

While using this ROM, my phone is telling me that it is on a different network that I am supposed to be, for example when I am connected on 3G it is reporting as Telstra(AU) and when connected to 2G it's reporting as VodafoneAU. My actual carrier is supposed to be "3". This ONLY happens when using this ROM, I have used Cyanogen 7.10, Blay0's, and the stock rooted eclair and they all show up as "3" as my carrier for all modes, any idea of cause and solution?
Thanks

Here's a list of the apk's and odex's I've removed from /system/app while in recovery.

HtcTwitter.apk & .odex
Maps.apk
MarketUpdater.apk
Facebook.apk
Flickr.apk & odex
FriendStream.apk & odex
Street.apk
Talk.apk
HtcFacebook.apk & odex
HtcFacebookChatWidget.apk & odex
com.htc.FriendStreamWidget.apk & odex
com.htc.TrendsWidget.apk & odex
com.htc.TwitterWidget.apk & odex

Before Titanium backup was showing only 4 Mb of free rom space
After Titanium backup shows 22 Mb of free rom space.
I do hope this info helps.

Thanks

Hi,
I've installed Darktremors a2sd, my sdcard has 1 ext3 partition (checked in minitools partition wizard), I've used the a2sdgui and tried to enable a2sd no go.
I've used a terminal on phone and did a a2sd check
answer-:
"Ext partition found, but not mounted.
your rom may not be setup to run Apps2sd.
Check with your rom dev....etc

Your partition maybe using an ext4 partition,
but your rom may not support ext4,.....

I don't think I have messed anything in setting up the a2sd.
has anyone else got a2sd working yet?

Changed my partition from Ext3 to Ext4 still not working.
HAHAHAHA now my phone won't read my sdcard at all,
restoring backup with CWM...
Oh dear, restore didn't work, still can't read sdcard from android, will have to reformat sdcard I think, I can mount usb mass storage in CWM and read it on pc. I think the mount points must have been messed up when I repartitioned the sdcard from ext3 to ext4 while trying to keep the 14gb fat32 partition intact. Oh well a learning experiance :-D

How do you delete files while you are in recovery mode ?
Thanks

Assuming you got all the files, driver and apps already setup properly on your PC, you have rooted your phone and your installed files are still intact?

phone:-
fastBoot into recovery (volume down + power, go into recovery mode when u get red triangle and ! then volume up + power)

apply sdcard:update.zip (clockwork Mod)
goto mounts & storage
mount /system. (stop on phone)

On you windows pc open a cmd prompt (start, run, type cmd)
goto your folder with the adb.exe file
type adb shell (I got ~ #)
type cd /system/app <------ edit, added the missing space sorry.

type ls for a file listing

rm appname.apk or appname.odex (rm means remove)

remember, names are case sensitive.

that should be it? Did i miss anything?

good luck and be carefull this is dangerous if you do wrong thing!!!!!!!

Few questions, please
1. What other kernels can I use instead of the one in this ROM?
2. Will a different kernel function well this ROM?
3. Is it worth switching kernels?
4. Is it worth upgrading to RC4b or should I wait for a newer build? When will it approximately come- the newer build?
5. Stupid question, why is it still in RC stage?

Please .. I haven't received an update regarding this question

Hi guys, I want to give a short review of my experience with this ROM.

Positive:
- The Sense 2.1 is absolutely beautiful!
- Very fast Rom
- The best-looking Legend ROM available!
Negative:
- The Wi-Fi random reboots. It's terrifying.
- The Wi-Fi adapter turns on completely on it's own and exhausts the battery pretty quick.
- sadly not all Sense Skins work on the Rom
- I was also missing the stock live wallpapers. I installed them in addition, but the Rom does not allow me to use them ( The App. was stopping working ).
Question:
- Is it possible to switch between Sense lock screen in 3.0 and 2.1. I personally do not like the HTC concept for the 3.0 lock screen and prefer the old school slide design :)

So, to sum up, nice ROM, but still can't say it's a every-day-rom, but definitely with the best design. Will follow the progress!

3 uses telstra for 2g (roaming) and vodafone for 3g , it's just displaying the correct network.

Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA App

Hi and thanks for you suggestion, this would be logical if it was actually connected on roaming.
If it was roaming, I would be getting charged a lot of $ using my mobile data, but I am not getting charged, my data is just coming off of my data allowance so it can't be roaming and must be on my home network.

The other thing of note is this is only a problem on this rom so something strange is happening.

Thank you.
