Yes, you are correct with the change list.
However the firmwares are not compatible on binary level.

Install for instance some framework files from EMC3 on EMD2 and you will get a boot loop.

Thats why I wanted the mod done for EMD2 as well

Never the less it's quite strange this one. According to letters XXEMD2 it's all different revision and month relative to XXEMC3 and changelist it's the same.
You sad binnaries, maybe signatures changed? I have not a chance to check files. I will do tonight.
