There aren't many markets that have completed 3g upgrades as of right now... just and fyi.

Not saying there are not some out there.. bit they are more lte sites complete than 3g upgrades

Typically between 500k and 1500k here in north Denver/Boulder area. These tests were on US 36 just south of Boulder.

I'm in Lancaster,pa zip 17603. They upgraded something recently as my service for the past 6 months was shotty on and off. At one point I got an airave I tested about a week ago my download was less than 50kb/s. I'm glad bci just had an epic with good wimax service.

I take your 2.45 and raise it to 2.7mbps. This is absolutely fastest I've seen so far (this is at my house!). Jacksonville, FL. btw.

Nice. First time seeing over 2.5 on Sprint 3G. Its like catching bigfoot poopin. Nobody believes it without a picture. Lucky you get that at your house. The speed I posted was at work, at home I get .25 usually, maybe 1 around 4 am.

Have 1x at work, 10kbps lol! But I get decent 4G WiMax (13mbps), but it's useless to me now because I'm on the GSIII. :p

Pretty good, considering I'd get less than 700kbps at this time a night before. No network vision here yet. Some parts of town I can't even get data though.

Round Rock, TX...

According to sprint they just finished capacity and speed upgrades in my area. I can't wait for them to flip the LTE switch!

Here's our blazing 3G speeds in Raleigh, NC.

I'm also wondering this. To be honest, I don't even know what rev a6 or rev a8 refer to, but searching through old threads brought me to a discussion that claimed TW ROMs had faster data because they connected to a8 instead of just a6 like AOSP. It could be a placebo thing, but my limited experience with the Sprint 3G service has me thinking that it could be true. The day LTE comes to southern California (hopefully before my contract runs out) will be a glorious one.

Rev a6 and Rev a8 are the software revision numbers. A8 is newer than a6 and is a little faster due to more current optimizations made for newer devices and network infrastructure upgrades. A8 allows better distribution of load across the network which gives more consistent speeds to the end user. A6 was the late 2010 or early 2011 revision to the network software and a8 was released early 2012. It will most likely be revised again once NV upgrades are complete. I haven't connected to evdo since oct when my towers all kicked me to 1x-RTT or EHRDP: 13 depending on the day. Since mid December I've been on EHRDP almosy exclusively now just waiting for the lte to get turned on farther out from the interstate

I can't say the words "Sprint", "3G" and "Fast" in the same sentence without laughing (or crying)

This is in the Denver area:
    Ping: 366 ms
    Down: 23 kbps
    Up: 326 kbps
    1
I just got 446 kbps this morning but 9507 kbps tonight. No 4g and 905 nightly cm10. It seems things run better a day or two after flashing. Could be my imagination.

OK forget it, I had the wifi turned on ... "if it's too good to be true..."
