Runing latests release with motley kernel! Runing so far without problems. Kernel runing with dev stock settings!

if you see a set_perm error then I know about it. the two cases I am aware of where you can hit that is if you selected inverted gmail or inverted google plus.
If you suspect this is what you are hitting simply run again without selecting either of those two inverts for now (it'll be fixed in next version).

If you think you are getting something different then please post a screenshot, log, etc or anything that would help me actually see what is going on.

Edit: Also if you really want one of those inverts you can use the aroma in the themes and apps section as it will not hit this issue. So install rom zip, then without rebooting flash the aroma in themes and apps section to pick all your options.

I selected the standard 'non-inverted' apps in aroma and got the same result twice. I will try the non-aroma rom with manual std-gapps flash process and get back to you..... thx.

but what result was that? would love to see the error or some sort of more details.
Edit: or maybe aroma just doesn't support multirom.

The result (twice) was a crash (black screen of death, long power button to reboot) shortly after I made my aroma selections and launched the rom install, within a couple seconds or so....

FYI, I have loaded several roms via multirom with aroma before and this is the first that has bailed..... Perhaps someone can try to confirm my results?

Rom slows down every time I install an app and I can't get it to wake with volume rockers, I know the buttons are good, this tablet is less than a week old and they work fine when screen is on, any fix?

Sorry I don't have that issue nor have I seen it mentioned anywhere else yet so would be hard to know what to fix..

Have you tried your own troubleshooting yet? Does this happen on full clean install (factory wipe?)
Have you tried other kernels?

Tried a full wipe and it still happens, I'm using motley kernel, witch kernel would you recommend or which one are you using

I'm using motley also GPU set at 520 and everything is running nice.
ROM is fantastic I was worried about losing pie but now I don't even care ROM is super fast!

    General Information:
    This is my continuation of doing AOKP PUB Builds for the Nexus 7. PUB (Project Unicorn Butter) aimed to bring Linaro toolchain and other optimizations to the normal AOKP build. My goal is to simply continue these builds providing releases based off current code. Current builds are using the latest (2013.09) release of the 4.8.2 Toolchain. Builds using O3, strict-aliasing, and other optimizations where applicable.

    Releases:
    The target will be weekly builds on the weekend with a build during the week only where needed for bug fixes to be merged or some major change we just can't wait for ;)
    There are two Release Types
    TYPE 1 is your traditional ROM Flashable zip.
    You must flash gapps after flashing this ROM as it can not be included in the ROM zip.
    Current Gapps: gapps-jb-20130813
    Slim Gapps(needed for full Dark UI functionality): Slim Gapps 4.3 Downloads​
    TYPE 2 is an Aroma Installer that includes the ROM, latest gapps, and many other options. See Post 2 below for further details.​
    More than likely any middle of the week builds will not get rolled into the Aroma.

    Kernel:
    I am currently building the tegra3 grouper kernel from google source (stock). It is the kernel that will be installed if you just flash this as is. This is a perfectly fine daily driver, should be stable and safe across all devices.
    If you are looking for better battery life, better performance during gaming, or even just more control over various settings at the kernel level then feel free to try one of the other great kernels offered for this device. I will not recommend one, I will recommend you try them all and see which works best for you.

    Installation:
    1. Download rom zip and gapps
    2. Reboot to recovery
    3. Wipe cache/dalvik (full wipe when needed)
    4. Flash rom
    5. Flash gapps
    6. Reboot

    This is an Aroma installer that adds features and options to the normal ROM install. If you use this you do not need to download the ROM separately above as it is included.

    Optional Inverts:

    You can get inverted applications in multiple ways. First I'd recommend going to System Settings and flipping the switch for Dark AOKP.
    This will invert many of the core Gapps for you. For any other applications you may want inverted, there are two great threads that will make this trivial for you:

    Edit: I messed up the last build with a fat finger. Will rebuild in an hour then upload. This will drop tonight but not till late US Eastern time.
