Xperia Play Update Design informations

Hey guys,
i have get today answers to the Ice cream sandwich (Android 4.0) design from Sony Ericsson.
At first all Xperia Smarthphone from 2011 get the Update.

Second the bootscreen is with the brand from Sony
see here:





Third the the design is the same like the Xperia S, also we get everyone the Xperia S design :)

Why do you say Android 4.0 ? just say Ice Cream Sandwich !

It's easier to understand !

While that is true, American phones are generally way behind on updates, even across multiple manufacturers. Not to mention the fact that every Xperia Play is a GSM except for the R800x, it takes a while longer to port the software to match the CDMA modem.

In otherwords, the outside design and most of the software is the same, yes. However, they are different enough that it will take longer for the CDMA Xperia Play to receive the ICS update, if at all. That one will mostly depend on our carrier, Verizon Wireless.

For all us United Kingdom users we'll get the Ice Cream Sandwich update April/early May for our Xperia Plays. So not long to go :) I can't wait !

It'll be nice to see that new XPERIA logo on the Xperia Play.

The R800x is the only phone that doesn't have any ICS ports yet...
But don't worry, maybe the first ICS rom will be like the .145, works on both :)
