I have just flashed the Abyss ROM. So far things seem better apart from the seemingly known issue with ring tones being mislaid. I am not sure yet about battery life, but I am playing with governors and voltages for a while to see what works and is best.
One thing I noticed was that I can use my BT headphones on either side of my body without any drop-outs with A2DP. I used to be forced to have my phone on the right side of my waist to avoid this as most headphone receivers are on the right
. I assume my BMI is not good enough, and the fat is preventing the BT signal .
With this kernel I find massive improvements and even when I hold both hands over the bottom of the phone there is no drop-out (only a slight degradation).
Is this expected? I love it, anyway!
