My opinion: ZGPAX. The OMATE, with all ofit's clone/knock-off copies, where you don't know what your getting is just unproven. The ZGPAX has all the hardware and just needs a little development to be perfect. The OMATE just has way too many unanswered questions and just seems like it started with good Intentions but is falling short, way short for the $$$.

ZGPAX
Has lower performance overall
More battery hungry
Lacks 3G
Lower resolution camera
Known for overheat issues
Runs older version of Android (ICS 4.0.4)
Less RAM and storage than higher end x201 models
smaller dev community
No source code
No major apps partnerships
Lacks any water resistance rating

Has FM Radio
Costs less

Umeox x201
Costs more
Camera cannot be used for video chat
Water resistance is reported by some as more "splash proof" than a swimmer's watch
May be delays in getting the Omate version

Performance equal to a Galaxy SII
More battery efficient
Has 3G and HSPA+ (up to 7mbps)
Higher resolution camera
Produces less heat
Run newer version of Android (Jelly Bean 4.2.2)
Larger dev community (This also includes members of TeamWin/OmniRom and CyanogenMod)
Has source code
Major app partnerships
Screen is insanely bright (minimum brightness is equal to a Nexus 4 at 50%)

There are no clones or knock-offs. they all use the same core board and come from the same place. The main difference is specs (RAM & internal storage) and case design. I've been using mine since November and have little issue with it other than my developer sample being the world model and not the NA model.

What kind of questions?

There's a tutorial a few threads down but you'll have to wait until the the new release. Either flash twrp in mtk droid tools and flash the Rom or flash using sp flash tool.
