if you already managed to screw the modelid, the downgrader won't help, because it only reads the current information (of modelid and wifi) and transfers it to the right place when downgrading.

This worked for me.
Just got stuck in two places....
first I had no idea what to enter for a mac address. Eventually I found it on the battery door of my Athena
Second make sure you add .bin to the filename in mitty

Originaly I have AP4 with SPL 3.5. After successfully flashing to Michyprima's ROM R6.1, I hard reset the device, and this is what happens:
- at first boot, entire screen shows gray dots
- seconly, the green boot image appears with text:
Michyprima's ROM Studio Present
Windows Mobile 6.1
- then device try to configure itself, showing something like disclaimer screen
of Michyprima (I press Continue)
- It asked to choose font: Tahoma or Segoe UI (Vista)?
i just leave it that way (Tahoma) & press Done
- a window appear with text: the changes will be visible only at next startup.
i clicked ok (as this is the only way to continue)
- It says customization will be in 3 secs. It resets by itself.
- the boot process is start all over again from the beginning as continuous looping
after long search of what caused it, i found that i have flashed wrong version of Michyprima's ROM SPL, other words: i used SPL v1.2 instead of SPL v3.5.
my question: is this also called Invalid model ID?
Is it also possible to use cmonex solutions (fixing non working WIFI) to solve my issue here?

Try to flash, from bootloader, michy's 3.5 SPL rom: if this works you've recovered your ATHENA
If don't use CMONEX solution....

it works!! finally, I can see and explore this great ROM..
well, i tried many time, still can't use my Wifi even I get my full signal strength . May be it is time to use CMONEX's ?

i have flashed my unlocked athena x7500 with rom 6.1 by irius. the update breaks at 98%.
now i have only pixels on screen, and nothing happens.

-uncheak usb
-run mitty
-rum mac
-make mac file and gave this a name of mac
-type task 32 in cmd
-it appears normally as in comrex thread
-whan i type lnbs mac.bin 75108000
-it gives me......... invalid start adress value
-i tried this using windows xp as well and gave me ....filename.bin open failed
i will try to send u the picture of my screen as but i dont know how to send it to u, as i told u my screen is showing me following msg

I have htc advantage x7500, and I unlock it with unlocked tools, i upgrade it to ap4, it was work perfectly....but have one big problem that micro drive always miss data, but I don’t care for that and bought 8g memory card,
but after 2 weeks work in ap4 and suddenly the x7500 hanging and lose all contact and all message, i try soft & hard reset but not useful, am trying to downgrade to original rom but after downgrade the device hanging to and do many restart,
Now I take it to warranty and they told me that I tiring to unlock the SPL and they will try to lock it again but may be I lose the motherboard.
Now I don’t know what can I do. And I need your advice

I can't remember if the 7501 accepted 7500 roms , do a search
I think SPL 1.1 means you arent unlocked yet.
