Anyone else finding the camera makes the phone heat up a far bit? I was just mucking about with the camera. Making sure photo video and panoramic worked and it felt hot so I checked the battery temp and it was up to 46 degrees.... I'm guessing this isn't normal as no other ROM I've tried had done this with camera... I'm using 2.5 BTW but is this fixed in the 2.51 update??? Thanks.

i actually need a favour to ask :$
you know now adays UCCW is on the top and there is a serious conversation going on regaring memory leak.
most of the members having problem with the memory leak are on jelly bean i guess.
coz just saw a post there which says that your ROM has to deal with the memory leak thingy .
and i think he is right.
i have bean on 4 jelly bean roms and i have faced the same issue in all .
could you be able to do something regarding UCCW (Ultimate custom clock widget) memory leak ? :s
please ?

Anyone know how to turn off the backlight on the capacitive buttons? I have a initd script to do it, but it doesn't seem to work with PA.

Wow.. Just wow! Currently I have better battery life than on Sense! (Or battery icon is frozen :p )

Due to some problems in PA 2.51, I won't upgrade.

I'm using AdjBrightness from the market, it's the only app that seems to work.

Which kernel is the best for this ROM by the way? Ncx or Faux? My battery seems to be draining quickly with ncx.

Well, when i set e.g. sms app statusbar color to red, the statusbar changes to red when i open sms app...

    1. UPDATE RECOVERY
    2. FACTORY RESET
    3. TAKE ANY AOSP KERNEL. REPACK WITH THE BOOT.IMG FROM THE ZIP.
    4. INSTALL ROM, GAPPS
    5. FLASH MODULES MATCHING KERNEL YOU TOOK.
    6. WIPE CACHE & DALVIK CACHE
    7. REBOOT
    PA 3+ UPDATES DO NOT NEED A FACTORY RESET,
    BUT YOU NEED TO INSTALL GAPPS ASWELL.

    SPECIAL ONE X NOTICE,

    Further kernel repacking, all your data stored in /sdcard
    will move to /sdcard/0/ at first boot. That's a needed thing by the kernel.
    If they don't go there automatically, move them manually.
    If you ever go back to 4.1, remember to move all content from /sdcard/0/
    to /sdcard/, otherwise no app will find data.

    Managed to make a more stable build. Fixed mobile data, and ROM is overall smooth. Can be better though. Camera is here but not working. Trying to fix it.

    Alright everyone, now ParanoidAndroid sources are synced, and I've almost finished modifying them to make them one x compatible. Tomorrow a new build will probably come, as soon as my build machine and my internet speeds allow me ;)
