The GT-I9001 uses the vibetonz driver. Regarding no vibration when receiving SMS, it doesn't vibrate unless sound mode is set to vibrate. Whens sound mode is normal, it doesn't vibrate. It behaves like this on all my other phones running ICS. Not sure if it's a bug or not, but there certainly is an option in the messaging app for always vibrate, but there could be something elsewhere that overrides this.
tested the incall sound and still doesn`t work (volume up/down) and about vibration, it still doesn`t work even if I set it on vibrate only...The vibration is very weak barely perceptible and i set the msg on long vibrate too when receving sms but it vibrates only short and weak.
quality of soud (asked the persons I`ve talked with) didn`t changed much...they say "I hear you bad and with interuptions" ;(

Can´t confirm that. Use the kernel since 8 AM, did several phone calls in the meantime. Tested it by myself with two other phones and my colleague.
WIFI still fast and stable (tested 3 different routers/nets)
MTP still shows both sd-cards, but external can´t be written.

Why then in a custom ROM, like Cranium or BroodROM, they work? If they are non stock?
Related with GB, ICS?
Cranium or BroodROM are stock roms with pre-installed scripts. If you don't feel like installing a clean stock rom and installing the scripts by yourself, then you have cranium or broodrom who does that for you.
noticed a lil bug, probably cm9 related rather than arco's build.. if u have a shortcut of an app on homescreen, and u uninstall that app, after some time u can see the app's icon again on homescreen, but the app cannot be found anymore in the app drawer or app manager. happened to me on 2-3 occasions, but i guess it's random coz i can't reproduce it for every app 
Noticed that my phone becomes way more hot than before.

Have you noticed in which version the trebuchet launcher is? It's an alpha build, so for now it might be a good idea to use something like apex launcher or another enhanced stock ics launcher

116Fix for recovery bootloop problem
Thanks to everyone who hear my pray and tried to help with my problem (bootloop into recovery). And Acro68 sorry that i'm bothered you. I here again to publish the solution. Problem was in bootloader, like people on other forum says (it was damaged somehow, probably because kies update fails before).
1. Open Odin.exe (UnZip from Odin.zip)
2. Go into Download mode
3. Select OPS - AriesVE.ops (UnZip from AriesVE.zip)
4. Select BOOT - Boot_loader.tar
5. Flash it and bootloop into recovery never gona happen.
All the files is attached...88I and some fellow developers (especially thanks manveru0, skywalker01, other users for testing, reporting and other help) are trying to port AOSS to our device, working with CyanogenMod 7 for now.

First of all, sorry for my 2.5-month absence, I was really short of time because of university and long illness, so I decided to freeze module development for a while. I understand that doing so without any posts there was rude, and ask for understanding.
Next, it was a great surprise for me to see really working CM9 for our phone!!! I can only say GJ to arco68 - thank you guy, you really did this, even without a phone! I don't think my work is relevant anymore, so I'll stop with CM7 and will check out his work (maybe I'll be of some help). I've been able to found quick solution for working audio in 2.3.7, also, but I don't think it is relevant anymore ^_^.
Once again, good job, arco68. I'll try to build CM9 with your configuration and test it, so I'm going to be just user and tester for now. ^_^43Here's a new full test build of the rom. This contains fixed boot image, so it actually boots (unless I screwed something up this time). USB connect/disconnect should work correctly, wifi I *hope* works now. In addition I added support for automatic brightness and cleaned up some stuff.
