What are the best settings in semaphore manager app for saving battery life?
Right Now I have...
CPU Governor: Battery Saving
CPU Underclock: 800mhz
Is there anything else I can change?
Should I enable deep idle? Will this save more battery when phone idle 7 hours?
(while i sleep)
Deep Idle only works when you're listening to music.
It seems to me you have good settings. Possibly you could install BetterBatteryStats and monitor which apps are causing wakelocks and take care of that.
I don't claim to know all about it but Deep Idle works for me whenever the screen is off. It is definitely worth enabling for better battery life.
I need BT so I can only use TOP=ON but the effect is noticeable.
But if the screen is off, the phone really ought to be going into sleep state, surely?
It's only when the phone is still doing something, and not sleeping, with the screen off, that deep idle is useful. e.g. listening to music.
if it's doing anything else with the screen off, instead of sleeping, you might not want it to be doing that, and you should then be using e.g. Better Battery Stats to find out why it's not sleeping.
if It is sleeping, then having deep idle enabled should make no difference at all.
Deep idle uses less resources than deep sleep, whether the screen is on or off as I understand it.

Nope...
Deep Sleep uses less resources than Deep Idle. Deep Idle is just a semi-sleep state to save battery while playing music.

ohhh... so Sleep is best, Deep Idle is next best (without it music playback would keep the phone fully awake even with the screen off?)
I'm educated now?

I'm sorry for your issues.
And I have no more desire to build new versions. At least for now.
