[Recovery] [Unofficial] CWM RECOVERY 5.0.2.8 for KARBONN A21

Finally I have compiled a CWM RECOVERY 5.0.2.8 for KARBONN A21

AND IT IS FULLY WORKING

Pre-Requisites : Rooted Karbonn A21

Steps to flash the CWM Recovery :-
1. Download the zip from here or here
2. Extract the zip in a folder.
3. Copy the recovery.img to the ROOT o f the SDCARD. ( Root means not in ANY FOLDER )
4. Open any terminal emulator in your phone. You can try this
5. Type following commands :
su
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p16 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p16.backup bs=4096
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p16 bs=4096

The Recovery is flashed
Use the combination to enter the CWM RECOVERY.

Known Bugs :

Unable to go back[/B]

Thanks for trying but it is not working as after flashing it shows the white screen after entering the combination(vol up+ power)

For making it fully working someone has to come on chat.
I cannot correct it if no one is interested to have a CWM RECOVERY.

Hi EkLovya

My karbonn a21 is in service center as it got hooked when i was trying to uninstall V6 Supercharger Script(To install V8).So i will PM u as soon as i get it back (hopefully on 23/11).Then Please guide me on CWM and stock rom flashing to prevent future occurrings like i had.

Tianyu HS-USB Android Modem 9025 driver not installed error

I am using windows 7 and tried to root karbonn a 21 using PDA net drivers,
After rooting using the unroot tool, the reboot leads to an error message
"Tianyu HS-USB Android Modem 9025 driver not installed error"
The root check shows that the phone is not rooted.
Please assist

Cwm cannot be compiled by me without any users help.
I dont have a21,
A user has to test it and make ensure if it is working or not

They Say No!

Actually i got my karbonn a21 just now..

If i get the Recovery...and a rom as a base... I will mod like anything...you can check out my holo sandwich rom!!!

Please anyone tell me my karbonn isnt connecting to wifi??

As u said stock Recovery? !!!

hey we are waiting for the recovery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

errors in the current recovery are:
1. display not working i.e. we get a total burled images in the recovery.
2. even in that case i have tried to work on that but noting is working except the reboot option .
3. After flashing the recovery i can't reset my phone even with the back up and reset option in settings.
pls help us out. (i need to reset my phone asap).
