-Better root. It not install itself on every boot, just on the first boot.
-You don't need to calibrate the screen on first boot, it do for itself. Feel free to re-calibrate in the menu.
-Custom boot animation support, and there is an installed one.
-Newer boot logo.
-Fixed YouTube.apk as a system app.
-Removed the stock launcher and replace it with Apex Launcher. This is a modified version of that launcher, but a lot better.
-Titanium Backup updated.
-I planned a lot of build.prop tweak but it override the market fix, so they are not included yet... Stay tuned, for next releases.
This ROM has to be flashed connected to the PC right? I have the problem that my SuperPad is not recognized by my PC (Win7), it does nothing at all and the tablet does not even show up as unknown device, so i cannot choose the drivers i downloaded. Any suggestion to solve this?
USB works pretty weird in this tablet. Simply plug the usb in the TOP slot and reboot your device and it will work. But if you just plug in it won't work. Anyway if you want to recognize as a flash device hold the reset + power + menu button then release the reset button and wait till a new storage will come up. Than you can release the power + menu. In this mod you can start flashing.

Thanks for your answer. So if i understand right i put the flash tool and the downloaded rom (vortex.pak) in the same folder in my external sd card by coonecting the tablet via usb upper port. Then i make the 3 button combo and enter flash mode where i can start the flash tool and flash your rom. Is that correct?

Not exactly. You need don't need to put the flash tool on the external sd card, just on you computer. Run the flash tool, select the ini file depend on you got 512 or 1 gb memory and select the vortex flash tool. Plug the usb in the top usb part, do the 3 button combo and VDfu storage should pop up on your computer. This is 512mb for me... now you can start the flash in the flash tool.

Make sure the tablet is off.
Remove the external SD card.
Plug in the tablet using the TOP USB port.
Copy Vortex.pak to the folder that has the flash tool. The .pak and .ini files should be in the same folder.
Start the Flash tool.
this part needs four or five hands. Use a pen to hold in the Reset button at the SAME time hold in the POWER button and the MENU button. Release the RESET button after about five seconds. Keep the Power and Menu buttons pressed until you get New Hardware found and a new empty VDFu window pops up.
Release the Power and Menu buttons.
Start the flash tool. Menus are in Chinese.
Click the Lower Right button. The progress bar should fill in about 30%. If there are any error windows, just click the button the window.
The new blank VDFu window will close.
Important. DO NOT CLOSE the flash tlool.
Do the five hands step again to get the blank VDFu window.
The left radio button will be active. Select it.
Click the lower button on the right.
Several small windows will pop up. Just click the button in the windows to close them.
This process takes several minutes to complete. Do not interrupt the process. Do not close the flash tool.
The Progess bar will fill. Cllose the the flash tool.
Unplug the USB cable.
Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds.
Turn on the tablet.
You should see a firmware update take place.
Everything will be in Chinese. That is OK.
Slide the lock to open the main screen.
Select the settings icon.
Scroll down to the language icon A capital A
Press the top selection and select your language.first report
The battery consumption is very high and about 70 % of it is due to no radio signal available. I switched now in settings data transfer off and will charge again the tablet to see the battery cunsumption afterwards.

The battery is not as good as in the 2.3 but this is a bug in the stock rom. ICS deep idle, not work at all, that is mean the battery goes down when the screen is of as fast as the screen is on. (except the blacklight of course). Recommended to shut down the tablet when you not plan to use it for a longer time. Sorry but this bug presented on all of the ICS rom for this tablet yet, and not fixed yet.
excited to install this rom just two questions please will vista work to do it and does wifi work on this rom.
I did it from Windows 7 but i guess Vista should work too. Just try to connect via the upper USB and start up the tablet so it is recognized. If it is and the drivers load there is no problem. WiFi works great for me.

excellent rom love it my tab is much better thank you, only thing I found and its very minor my wifi cuts off a few times, Market works perfect for the first time only app I can't download is flash player 10.3, but I love it great work.

Thanks for this rom! Works very well. Only issue so far is that wifi drops some times but I accualy think Its hardware related, as it has happened on every damn fw I've tried out.
Anyone got flash player working on this rom I've tried everything and nothing, 10.3 worked on the original rom but not this one.

Ok I noticed there are 2 flash tools to choose from. I have tried both and both of them say completed but the green bar only goes to like 30% and stops. When I turn on the tablet it shows the dragon screen but doesn't do anything else. What did I do wrong?

4Good news for today! I managed to get a working CWM Recovery for our device!
First of all: Not I ported this for the Vimicro Cortex A8 devices but I modified to work exactly on the Flytouch 6.
Install... Just unzip it and run the bat file while you have ADB connection and it will do. But use at your own risk it is still for testing!
My results:
Install a zip file in recovery... working!
Make a full system backup... working!
Factory reset... working but after this I got into a bootloop don't know why, because everything worked.
Restore full system... fully working! After the bootloop I just got back everything before the factory reset.

4Blazing Dragon 1.0 released!
Request for this rom:
-Flash once Blazing Dragon 0.3-0.6. This is needed for partition change and other partition flashes.
-Installed CWM recovery.
-You only need to flash this zip from CWM.
-It will wipe the required partitons.
-Data wipe/factory reset not needed but highly recommended because this update gives huge changes.
Note that this release contains very big changes, whole system structure change. And this update not use any img file for system partition. This is the best thing about this rom. Now I made the CWM update script everyone can make their own. Only a zip compressor is required because basically CWM just unpack the system folder to the proper partition. Of course it does a lot more but everything can be seen in the script.

Now it come preinstalled with the zip. -Whole structure change in the system folder. -The weird system/_install deleted and everything rooted to system/bin or xbin. Not an android standard folder and that is why su install working in a "normal way". Pretty big and useful change for future developers! -External and internal sd card mount point changed. You can move apps to your internal sd card even if you not plug an external card in and your external card is can be as a real sd card as it should be. But watch out for format the internal sd card from the settings... it will format external now! -Kingsoft Office new preinstalled system app. -Superuser was replaced by SuperSU. More up to date, and more ICS compatible. -Device now recognized as an Asus Epad. This mean more avaliable app in the market. -System apps update: apex launcher, titanium backup, quick pic. -System app clean ups. The following apps were deleted: PicoTts, voice_search, DrmProvider.apk, NetworkLocation.apk, Contacts.apk. -I hope I didn't miss anything but note that very big changes were done to the system folder sturcture and everyone can make there own rom from this without any img file editing, that is why it is called 1.0. :)
