I would be highly interested in Monitor Mode, too.
What is needed to realize it? The right drivers?

I'm also interested in using Reaver, any news yet? Or someone pointing me in the right direction?

Is installing Kali Linux and using reaver from there an alternative?

Nopers, but if you have the knowledge, you can develop us a driver for the bcm 4339 chipset.
after that we are fine, and we can use all that cool stuff that we can't atm ;)
So good luck ? while developing, and send me a pm if it's done!!
Greetings Tyler

What version of nexus 7 are you using? First or Second gen? What ROM are you running? Version of Android? I want to try this on my N7 gen2 when I get home today. Would love to stop using my external wifi adapter with it.
