Is this ROM considered semi-stable? I know its a nightly and all, but does it run like the other ICS roms for the vibrant?

Also is the mute/umute bug still in here?

I'm running the newest build as my daily and its pretty much flawless. I came from passion and I think its smoother. Passion had better GPS though but that can be fixed with a kernel swap and yaggf.

Gb boot loaders are recommended and preferred as they are backwards compatible. Also a few people on froyo boot loaders have reported encryption errors that corrupted the internal SD card

Plus there have been some kernels that the CWR doesn't play nice with when you are on Froyo bl's. For some reason it would hang at the /data part.

I know MP "strongly" urges GB bl's for any of his kernels, as that was a problem not too long ago and once all the cross-checking from people was done, Froyo bl's were the culprit.

Lol sorry multiple people helped you out by answering your question when you could have just done some light reading on the thread and figured it out on your own in the first place. I'm sick of people like you that clog up threads asking about ****ing bootloaders. READ first, post AFTER.

Rainbows is a multicolor screen that normally shows up when you reboot, making impossible to see your recovery. Sometimes happens also whenever you want to use your camera. This rainbows happened a lot on the early stages of gingerbread ROMS, because the Froyo boot loaders, those rainbows are thing of the past since the gingerbread boot loaders became available for us. Hope this answer your question.:D

Thank you for the answer, I will upgrade the bootloader when I get a chance but I haven't hash any problems yet, and I came from the stock Eclair version but don't know what bootloader it uses

I am on Passion right now, but keep hearing about AOKP being more smoother. Is the external SD mounted by the PC now?

Also, what's the kernel and yaggf mod you use?

I built for my devices, and figured y'all would appreciate it as well. Here's M5, with fixed ROM control startup tweaks, and working PC mounting of external SD. http://androtransfer.com/?developer=AOKP&folder=vibrantmtd Themed version coming soon.

Edit: themed version up as well.

    Build 26 Bug Fixes

I just tested Build 26 and everything is running smooth with Glitch v5. The external sd card mounting doesn't work still and you will have to flash Br!cked and MP's external sd mounting fix. Don't worry about the "format sd card" message in the status bar when connected to USB because it is harmless. The GPS takes 1-2 minutes to lock and for me it only got down to around 27 ft accuracy. I have combined the GPS files test and yagf2 gps files in one flashable cwm zip files and after flashing it I get down to 12-15ft locks within 10 seconds on first lock with Glitch v5. The camera also force closes on resolution change just like Build 25. The CM9 Build 16 camera works fine and I have attached the MP's CM9 Build 16 camera fix below. The AriesParts.apk in Build 26 breaks the ability to change CM9 Colors with the Galaxy Settings shortcut in app drawer. You will have to adb push or copy the AriesParts.apk from ICZen that I have attached below to system/apps overwriting the old one and set full permissions for it and reboot. So far these are the only bugs I have found in Build 26. Roman do you think you could implement all of these fixes including the updated GPS files in Build 27. I am sure Br!cked has already made you aware of them but I am posting them just to make sure. I have attached all Build 26 fixes below. Thank you Roman for this wonderful rom!

Build 39 has been out for a few days but not for the vibrant. Were there device specific commits that broke the vibrant build? Maybe somebody close to the project will comment. Whatever it is I hope it gets resolved. Still clutching my vibrant. :)
