The tweaks are from Arconium 4, it is just rebased on the new firmware, with deodexed framework, since doomed151 was not updating this thread, so I made it for you guys to try it out. I just installed it now and it's working fine. I only missed out patched services.jar and stereo recording for camcorder. :p

If people are interested, then I can make these two available as a small patch, and later reupload the whole ROM with edited changelog in AROMA installer and updated apps. :)

All credits goes to doomed151! :angel:

I know you gave doomed credits but I think it's better to ask permission from him to post the Rom.and if he gave you his permission I would like to see the full Xperia S theme as an option in Aroma .It will be awesome :victory:

Tell me a kernel for it.

For now i dont think this will make any difference. The only changes is the baseband. Right now i would recommend the rom from Sega. He has a kernel to go with that and it seems pretty fast and smooth with a hell of a good battery life.

To doomed151, hopefully you can give soumya_digi the perms to continue updating your Rom with tweaks he chooses as he please.

I think you should create a topic about this new ROM is more, not just in this topic, but you must master it.

I will test and respond to your earlier ROM version provided that you have to do and so you must create a new topic with more detailed information about this ROM.

I don't use ICS, so can't tell anything about the newer versions of ICS OC kernels. :silly: Honestly, the video recorder is working far better than anything I tried previously. (on .431 even with all those updated libs, and blah blah blah. :rolleyes:)

I haven't done anything new or magical to start a new thread unnecessarily. :eek: The forum is already filled with similar type of ROMS, and I don't want to do the same. This is doomed151's work, and I'm not eligible to do such things. Once he himself update this ROM, I'll remove my files immediately. :cyclops:

Yes yes, you can flash it over the old 4.0. You'll not lose any data. But still, a nandroid backup is recommended. :)

Does the patch include all remaining tweaks, such as stereo camera recording as stated before? Nice work.

Did you port the same tweaks, or update them and include the updated tweaks with the ROM. i know doomed used to update tweaks when tey were released.

Will test it shortly. FYI, i always use the KTG Kernel. Been running great.

Status 6 means that the script waa edited in windows. You'll need to open the script with notepad++/edit/EOL/ and convert it to linux! :)

    Please do NOT use any of my customized scripts for your own release. Using them as reference is fine though.


    Known Issues for 5.0

    • Touch controls might not work in AROMA Installer.
    • As with stock ICS, phone/contacts may take a while to start for the first time after boot.
    • If you didn't do a full wipe when coming from 4.1.B.0.431, you might have problems deleting bloatware.

    Troubleshooting

    • Flash the corresponding modules from the kernel you use (unless "modules included" is written) to make sure WiFi works properly.
    • If touch doesn't work in AROMA Installer, you can use hardware keys to navigate (like CWM).

    1. Copy update zip to SD card.
    2. Flash a suitable baseband using FlashTool.
    3. Flash one of the listed kernels or any compatible ones.
    4. Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery.
    5. Flash zip package.
    6. Follow on-screen instructions.
    7. Reboot.

    Arconium ICS 5.0 is out! I'm really sorry for the late release, I've been real busy with real life stuff. Anyways, here's the changelog:
    - Rebased to 4.1.B.0.587.
    - Updated third party apps.
    - Fixed build.prop for LT18i not showing correct version in About phone.
    - Removed software rendering support due to insufficient testing.
    - Adjusted tweaks, system should be more responsive

    Before you start flashing: Keep in mind that this release is untested by me but it should work. Always make a backup beforehand in case I did a major ****up in this release.
