Extract the kernel.sin from your FTF-file and flash this immediately after installiung SuperSU (as mentioned: not reboot, rather remove battery!) via flashtool => fastboot.

edit: Extracting works with WinRar e.g.

Summarizing

1 I go to fastboot mode and with flashtool flash kernel.elf NK for Xperia V 1.4.0
2 Reboot to recovery and flash Supersu
3 Turn off device and reboot to fastboot mode and flash kernel.sin from original ftf

Right?

    Hello Xperia friends...

I don't know why some people still asking for root on Unlocked Bootloader devices  this is very easy step to root ;)

    ok let's start :p

    1. download SuperSu here http://download.chainfire.eu/382/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93.zip
    2. please install kernel with working recovery for your device, (e.g CM kernel etc)
    3. turn on into recovery mode
    4. flash supersu via recovery
    5. DON'T reboot your device but power off your device in recovery
    6. install again stock kernel 4.3 (ONLY) from ftf stock firmware Jelly Bean 4.3 (exclude all system file, except kernel)
    7. turn on your device

Voila your devices has been rooted :p

At step 5 how can you flash ftf file in recovery mode ? This must be done in flashmode instead
