It times out after 5 mins and gets hung on the "0%" bar. On reboot I can get back into the phone as it was before. I followed the 4 steps in case it gets interrupted, but it can never get going again.

Edit: I'm a noob when it comes to cooked ROMS, didn't realize I needed to unlock first.

How do you flash this ROM?

Sorry, new to this. but I've spent over an hour looking for instructions for installation and have come up empty. Help!!!

I'm pretty new to it as well, so I hope this helps.

First thing you need to do is unlock the phone. Download the unlocker here:
whitestone.htc-unlocks.com/hard-spl.php
Follow the instructions on the webpage to unlock the phone

Next download the zip file provided in the first post of this thread and run ROMUpdateUtility.exe.

Basically you need to connect the phone via USB, and establish an activesync connection.

I've installed this ROM on my imagio and it runs MUCH MUCH better than the ROM that came with the phone. I'm very happy.

I wish there was a way to get FloTV back on the phone. If anyone knows how, let me know!

Lost Data Connection

Just installed new Rom, Now my data connection doesn't work. When i turn it on it tells me no modem detected. Does anyone have any solutions for me?

Try this...
Go to settings tab, Wireless controls, click settings, then phone on the pop up.
Then go to the network page, and make sure it is connected to Verizon Network.
Hope this helps...

No thats not it, mine says connected to verizon. I went to the settings tab, location, and turned location service settings on and mines working now. ^_^ (I also set up data connection in the the comm manager before that, if lss didnt work for you.) Though I have to go into the comm manager and click data connection to on every time I soft reset.

This is so far my favorite sense for imagio! It runs so smooth and the look is too. Only things I want are landscape, a nicer lock quick link pic and for some reason it says my signals low all the time when it hasnt been before.

I can't believe I've been suffering with the factory load this long. I knew there were custom ROMs for the phone out there, but this one is my first.

I've gone through this thread and set things according to other folks' issues, but I'm having a problem I haven't seen mentioned yet. When I set the volume up/down for the phone overall, there's no sound like there used to be (even when events sounds are selected) and I notice that I can't actually talk or listen on the phone during calls. WTF? The bluetooth does work however and my headset trains to the phone fine.

I also cannot use the speakerphone at all. It doesn't matter if I turn the bluetooth off or disconnect it from the phone. Something broken with the ROM, or did I miss a setting somewhere? The speaker does work because the rings for incoming calls are still activating as they should be. I thought I read something online that said WMM 6.5 disabled the speakerphone... why in the world?

Love the overall feel though - I'd hate to have to revert, if that's even possible at this point.

ok, I flashed back to the original ROM and it still does not have a working earpiece/mic, so I think someone at the house got a hold of the phone and dropped it or something and didn't tell me. :(

Verizon is shipping me a replacement one. Can't wait to try this rom on the new one. :)
