Nice ROM maik as usual...just one quick question. Yesterday I received my phone and rooted it. I could easily install ARHD 3.4 which works perfectly...but I´m missing the settings button in apps like ES File Explorer or Play Store. Did I miss something?
Got a problem with AROMA. Wanted to install 3.4 and it froze in AROMA. I can't restart the phone. I tried holding all the buttons (Volume up/Down + Power, Power alone, Power + 1 of the volumes... nothing works) for minutes... it just won't reboot - any ideas?
EDIT: So it worked after trying like a 1232 times
EDIT2: And stuck again. Another 1232 times
Did anybody notice this ? Or is it me who just learned about this ?

HTC One, the new flagship device from HTC is out now. You may be able to unlock HTC One bootloader, like any power user would do, but it will cost you a bit more than you’d expect. Not in terms of dollars but in terms of apps. Unlocking HTC One bootloader will strip your device off at least 4 apps, permanently: Flashlight, Calculator, Ringtone Trimmer and Sound Recorder.
Reason? All those apps are stored in the data partition of phone’s storage. While usually the apps are stored on main system partition. When you unlock the bootloader, the process involves wiping the data partition of the device. This will surely delete all data + the apps stored on that partition. Unfortunately, for now, we do not have Flashlight, Calculator, Sound Recorder and Ringtone Trimmer APK files which will allow us to reinstall the app after unlocking the bootloader.
Because some of the apps will be deleted, future HTC One OTA updates may fail as the update will check for existing applications and upon not finding them, it won’t go through.
This was revealed by Paul O’Brien of Modaco who has also informed / inquired HTC about the matter.
For most HTC devices, it’s really easy to unlock the bootloader. HTC has provided with a tool that will allow you to unlock bootloader for any supported device. For unsupported devices, unofficial unlock tools become available sooner or later. However, those considering to Unlock HTC One bootloader may have to hold on for a while now till HTC fixes it up or when we have APKs for those apps which will be deleted in the process. If you can risk losing the mentioned apps, which are really useful but not unique, you can definitely go ahead with any available bootloader unlocks available. Choice is yours.
Hi
This is a known issue. If you (others as well) would read some pages back then you would see that
a) dev is waiting for a new/updated version of Aroma
b) several retries normally will make it work
Please people, take the time to read also some pages back... Thanks.

seams not to be true...i still have those 4 apps on my phone after unlocking bl and flashing ARHD 3.4
Long press definitly doesn´t work. Do I need to install the following mod:
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2200369
Actually I revealed it already 3 moths ago when HTC One X+ was out and it has the same issue
I also wrote about it here - http://android-revolution-hd.blogspot.com/2013/03/negative-effects-of-unlocked-bootloader.html
It will be back working in 3.5. For now just don't select this mod in AROMA.
Well this means , for me flashing the ARHD time has finally come
I was very busy last week and now I have some time to do it.
Hi Mike,
I'm now a proud owner of a HTC ONE, which I just bought 'off the rack' here at Euronics (free from contract).
And since I was/am a satisfied user of your ROM on the Sensation, of course I didn't hesitate to install your ROM on my rooted ONE.
Big THX for your great work.
Aaannnddd ... therefore I'm going to expand my sig.
Aaannnddd ... I'm eagerly awaiting future releases from you. :good:
HELP!!!
I flashed 3.4 last night and installed the audio mod with no problems. Then I decided I to reinstall 3.4 but not selecting the audio mod. When it flashed it crashed the recovery and rebooted. Now it won't go into recovery, it just appears for a split second, then the phone reboots again. So I'm stuck in a boot loop and can't get into recovery!! I've gone into fastboot and done a fastboot flash to reflash the recovery which seems to send to the phone ok, but the recovery still won't boot afterwards! I have no idea what to do now. Please help! Maybe an adb command of some kind??
What is Sense Toolbox?
Sense Toolbox module contains a large variety of mods that will improve almost every aspect of your Sense device. You have to have Xposed installed to use these mods (except EQS reorder for older devices). For more info about Xposed refer to the original thread.
A note about compatibility. We develop the toolbox on ARHD on the HTC One M7 and M8. That ensures that every mod is compatible with ARHD. We can't test the mods on every other ROM. But as long as the ROM is near stock without deep changes, it should work there too. For the best and most complete experience I recommend using ARHD.
Which mods are included?
For a complete list, please head over to
http://sensetoolbox.com/6/modslist or
http://sensetoolbox.com/5/modslist
How to use the Toolbox?
First you must have Xposed Framework installed (more Info here). After that enable the Sense 5 Toolbox module in the Xposed Installer, set up the mods you like and tap 'Soft Reboot' icon to apply them.
You can also reorder EQS tiles using drag'n'drop on Sense versions prior to 5.5. Select EQS reorder option in Toolbox, tap a tile to remove it, use a '+' icon at the top to add new tile. Tap save icon when you're done.
Backup functionality
Toolbox supports settings backup and restore using default Andriod cloud capabilities. Enable backup in Settings > Backup & reset. Now every time you uninstall and install Toolbox its settings will be automatically restored. If you want to save/restore settings between reinstallations, use local backup on SDCard function (its button is next to Hot Reboot).
EQS Backup function (Sense 5)
Due to the nature of ROM flashes you will loose your custom order on every flash. A backup will be made at every save of the order to overcome that. Start the app and tap the clock icon at the top to restore your order after a ROM flash, then save and soft reboot. Backup is saved to your internal storage. Note that it will be removed if you uninstall Toolbox, or do a factory reset. You can probably save it with the usual backup tools or save the Android/data/com.langerhans.one/ folder on your SDCard.

Q 1: After flashing Android Revolution HD my battery drains much faster. What can I do?
A: Please charge your battery to 100%, boot your device in ClockworkMod Recovery and go to Advanced ---> Wipe Battery Stats. Also see Question 7.
Also please read this ---> [GUIDE] Enlarge your battery life : an attempt to fix the battery drain
And this ---> [How to] Brilliant Battery Life 100% working!
For more details about wiping battery stats please read this
Q 3: When recording HD video, the playback of the clip keeps freezing. How to fix it?
A: This is probably SD card problem. Format your SD card (FAT32 recommended) to gain silky smooth playback.
Q 5: Is there any alternative for SetCPU? I think it slows downy my phone.
A: You can application called No-frills. Remember to check "Allow on boot" option.
Q 7: My CPU load is all the time nearly 100% and in most part it's used by system. What is the reason of that high CPU usage and how can I fix it?
A: Delete your htcsense.com account. It takes A LOT of your battery and CPU usage.
Q 9: I have some strange issues with my ROM that nobody reported before. What should I do in first place?
A: In first place you should check, if the MD5 Checksum is correct. Then flash ROM again and see if the issue is gone. A lot of strange issues can be solved this way.

A: Please check your MMS settings or mobile data connection APN settings.
Q 13: When I listen to music from HTC stock player it accidentally pauses for short time and then keep playing.
Q 15: My clock/weather widget doesn't show my location. How can I fix it?
A: Please clear data from Google Maps, Clock Widget, Weather, HTC weather sync provider and Weather Provider.
Q 17: I have com.htc.bgc process force close few times a day. How can I fix it?
A: It's because you have removed HtcTwitter.apk (HTC Twitter application). Please restore it.
Q 19: When I open up the call screen (where I see the recent calls and callers), the calls won't appear in the list. What to do?
A: Probably you are using 3rd party launcher. Remove the dialer shortcut and re-add it.
You think you're addicted from flashing ROMs, checking forum the whole day and you feel like "Android" should be your second name? Well, here's something for fun
