Default Re: [Q] com.android.phone has stopped

I tried everything to fix it.. still haven't. From reading my system logs, and speaking to the guy at Verizon.. I'm thinking that the telephony antenna has gone out. All of my logs show that RIL is having issues. Even saw one line that the RIL had an error getting the status of the Icc Card (no idea what that is), and it should never return an error.

Verizon is replacing it under warranty.

I had this problem with my first DNA, warrantied it out after trying all the same things, flashing different roms, RUUing. After replacement I came across a thread somewhere and found that someone had fixed the same problem by simply fixing permissions before doing anything else, sounds like once you flash something else you're screwed.
Anyone try that first?

Try it again and always perform clean wipes in order to install, even for the stock rom and the viper, wipe everything before every install!

I started having this issue sometime after the 23rd according to my call logs, although likely a bit afterwards as I forgot to save a backup since that. I can't remember what I did around that time, but perhaps switching to some of the updated radios and kernels. I've since tried flashing everything again stock, but no luck. Really don't want to have to go back to Verizon.

Edit: drewx2's Cyanogenmod 10.0 is able to make calls for me fine (albeit without functional audio), as to narrow down the problem, it must be somewhere within the Sense ROMs and related data. So does anyone have ideas what is causing this?

Edit: Logcat for the crash: http://pastebin.com/CQQ6Lami

Default same issue

This is the 3rd post I have found on xda everyone has a little different info. I have tried them all with no success is there someone that can fix this problem? No matter what I do I still can't make or receive any calls.

I don't know if this has anything to do with our problem, but Droid Life reports an update in the works for the DNA that "improves sim card detection" (can't post the link yet). Worth keeping an eye on...

I was trying different "cures" for my phone and I finally tried RUU to stock and then when the phone finished booting completely I did ADB reboot bootloader, phone hard reset using stock recovery (do not use any custom recovery for this, you should see the phone symbol with a sort of exclamation mark and it takes maybe 30 sec to complete) , now all the preparing sim errors are gone and my 3g is back (I'm a gsm user) i was stuck on 2g. Phone is like out of the box back again.
