Quick questions guys :)

1. Does bluetooth audio/headset work perfectly? I had to forcefully move out of PA because of constant phone freezes with bluetooth :(
2. How does the stylus function on this rom? (i'm guessing no hovering, or button click detection etc.?)

1. Bluetooth headset works.
2. Stylus gestures work with stylus button pressed.
This rom still being extensively tested and fixed as stated in second post:
"HESE ARE UNOFFICIAL BUILDS. THESE VARY IN STABILITY AND FEATURES FROM THE OFFICIAL SOURCES."
A work in progress if you will =)

download link didnt work on my phone i think it was a fail of my own phone
i can download it with the computer and the rom is awesome Fast and nice lot of features

when update iam serieus give it a try again HAHA :laugh:

Update.

Alright new version uploaded... should hopefully fix some issues with WiFi...
I personally cannot test as its not applicable to me..

Camera firmware and fixes also included. You can all test and report feedback on the same...

As always tons of more features and mods and fixes included. :)

NOTE: Users still having issues.. please attach logcat along with device info. in post. It helps faster debugging. ;)

camera app is not working.

i am getting "cant connect to the camera" error.

rest is ok so far.

Switch the kernel over then mate, NEAK should be fine and it usually solves any camera issues I have on 4.2.1 based ROMs.

Or you can wait till later on today when pongster updates the RedPill AOSP kernel as that thing flies on JBX :D

I dont have external sd card, this is why maybe i am getting camera error.

    So this is Slim Bean 4.2.1 OFFICIAL release. This is a new base as we have started from a completely clean slate AOSP source and included most of our features within.

    NEW BASE FULL WIPE RECOMMENDED!!!

    By downloading this ROM, you accept the fact that you understand that your device will not magically have more RAM or CPU power

    Also keep in mind that this is RC software features and performance will vary as we get closer to the stable releases.

    BUG REPORTING?
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

    Another Quality Release from SlimRoms... now at SlimBean 4.2.2 Build 3!


    Some thoughts to ponder upon:
    • Smart control in Gallery, is a S4 inspired feature that is for fun and maybe some bragging rights amongst your friends!
    • As you all know S/W HDR was all messed up... So we removed it for the time being. If you still need it badly, there is Play Store where everything is available ;)
