Version 1.4 sleep animation

Can anyone tell me the name of the animation when entering the sleep mode of version 1.4 (screen collapse to center white line that schrink to white point, like when you turned off an old crt tv or monitor) ?

It's the CRT on/off animations and it's part of the framework-res.apk file.

Unless you're talking about the CRT shutdown animation that's in /system/customize/resource/downanimation.zip

Thanx for the fast reply.

I'm not sure its the full shutdown animation with 'snowy' screen, but it's a shorter version that only show the animation after the snow.

First off I'd like to say thanks for the great ROM. This is my first android phone & first time flashing. I've been running it for about a week now and have had no issues until today.

I did notice that after flashing from stock the market was different. I was able to find apps and install them no problem but this morning it will no longer allow me to search the market and I can't seem to pick any categories I'm stuck on the main page. I cleared my cache & cleared my search history but nothing. Was wondering is there a way to replace the market back to the stock one that came with the phone or get this market to start working again? I've read through the 100+ pages of this thread and couldn't find anyone else having this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Market Version is 3.3.11 (which I think is the most current)
Came from Rogers stock ROM directly to this one.

EDIT:

Downloaded a new market app online, installed over the current one. Looks the exact same but I have been able to search again.

EDIT 2:
Well after using the market for a while it seems to have gone back to doing the same thing as earlier. I have looked through other threads & searched google but can't seem to find anything about this. If anyone has any ideas please let me know its not a big deal just really annoying.

okay......please dont bash me, but its kinda hard to read through 53 pages to see if this question has been asked...

How do i apply this ROM??.. do i copy it to memory card, and run update.zip from CWM? do i have t update V1.0 first before installing 1.6?

I am sort of a noob to adding custom ROM's to HTC EVO 3D!

after reading a few of the reviews posted here, i must say that this ROM seems to be the best one so far... so i would like to give it a try,,,

Hence, i have never applied a ROM to my EVO yet!!

- download v 1.6 of the rom
- put it to your sdcard.
- go to recovery (shut your phone complety off, hold volume down+power)
- install zip from from sd card-> chose zip: scroll with vol buttons to the rom you downloaded

Kinda off-topic again, but there's a ****storm going on in the comments on Android Police (search for the article "Editorial: Android Custom ROM Developers, I Think We Need To Have A Talk" - I can't post external link because I'm a noob)

... which made me think that Turge is probably one of the rare few that actually maintain and update his ROM frequently, with USEFUL stuff added to it on top of that ! Keep up the good work !

Can you post a screenshot? Also, have you tried wiping data for the Market under "Applications"?

It's a pretty funny rant.. maybe they should consolidate all of the Android news sites first? They're all reporting the same thing anyways...

My preference (and the one I personally run) is LeeDroid's although I like kamma's as well but the latest versions have caused some issues. I haven't tested the latest version though.

Yah, the updates are usually a sync of the stuff that comes up after the last update along with updated APKs and updated tweaks (LeeDroid, Amaze, aGPS, etc.)..

@turge, settings-tweaks-misc you can toogle dim/off/default for the cap. buttons already (;
so the user can decide, wether he wants to use it or not.
But i think my tweaks should overwrite the setting of the init.d
