Support

We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:

1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.

2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ

3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.

Who is Team Carbon?

Thanks for instructions :) But I'm curious - why do we must to flash ics before flashing KK?

EDIT: Would that be a good .tft ? http://www.mediafire.com/download/uecg0f3wrf53gdt/XperiaTimes.com-ST18i_4.1.B.0.587_Kernel.ftf

From now , devs (lxp) has decided to repartition our intrnl space like /system /data /cache for art :p watsoevr art has future/not we now get /have got more intrnl usable space. :p thanks to 'art' lol...
So for that devs have repartitioned /chnged different thngs &for it to work as per they want, latest stock valued default space is needed in correct order which is attained by flashing stock ics .
$look in ray dev thread / index thread ,u will get the link.
The link u refer is jst kernel,we need full stock ftf

Ok, flashed.. and it boots, and works! :) Cool. But I don't see that second main screen with Google Now.. why? And "settings" button doesn't work in home screen menu. Is it possible to add option to edit quicksettings tiles and toggles?

EDIT: I changed the Launcher3 to GEL and it's perfect ;)

EDIT2: Clicking on screen brightness toggle in quick settings -> clicking that gearwheel causes FC of interface.

What I see for now:

- browser lag (I know it's known)
- battery drain is high - it lasts for 24 hours now..
- some apps lag sometimes, but it's not so annoying as on 4.3.1 :)
- Clicking on screen brightness toggle in quick settings -> clicking that gearwheel causes FC of interface.
- Once my phone lost network range, and I couldn't restore it.. Had to reboot device.

But 4.2.2 works fine, it's fast, have more free RAM, better memory management and so on :)

---------- Post added at 08:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:33 PM ----------

I have tried several jelly bean roms and i will always come back to gingerbread due to performance.

But Combination of your Kernel (SuperFusion :)) and SuperJellyBean changed the scenario. Achieved performance:) in JellyBean.

Can we expect the same (or more performance:confused:) kind in KitKat, since google also stating, 4.4 can run smooth with 512MB ram itself?

All the best.. :good:

Thanks mate, it works fine :) As smooth as alpha version, but with new features. I like those lockscreen options. Could u add the option to don't turn the screen on after connecting to charger? And the browser lag... is it fixed? I didn't checked it now, I'm afraid :D

And what about ART - would it be supported in the feature?

But performance and smoothnes is most important :) thanks!
