ive done it ..still like i mentioned few posts back..issues with mybackup root

***FeraLab*** New Generation ROM V2.09

This Rom is based on CM7.2 SDE ROM. This is the first SDE ROM ever booted on Locked bootloader..SO..it was realy hard to make it only booting.. now in my opinion it's the most multifunctional GB rom.. Good for everyday usage.. Runs on my modified FeraKernel v3.6..

- Captured video is a bit choppy on playback
- You cant change frequency of cpu from system (use any other app for that)

Hey Fera, in MM CM 7.2 there are no lags in video playback of the videos taken in camera. Any fixes could be done from that?

Some time ago, I installed "FeraLab v20 ~Final~", using the guide from x10forevers. Today, after being unhappy by the lagginess of the rom, I discovered that the FeraKernel included in that rom is old, old old... I could not find this in the v20 post, nor in the installation guide. Might be a good idea to say this in these posts? Or, is this rom perhaps entirely outdated and is it better to use JAF? (can't get ULBL, sadly)
Then two questions:
- Does anyone have OpenVPN working with this rom + kernel? On the included kernel it did not work, and with this new 3.6 kernel, it says "insmod: init_module './tun.ko' failed (Exec format error)" when trying to insmod the module from /system/lib/modules.
- It seems that the customization pack only works once, and when trying to execute it for a second, third,... time, nothing changes. Any clue here? (RTFM will do on this one if applicable, because I didn't do a lot of searching)

Does anyone know how to fix the misaligned asterisk symbol in the dialer??(it's visible in screenshots also) I tried to replace all system apps,framework.apk,semcgenericuxp.apk and all .jar files in framework folder with ones from Achotjan's Rom but without success!! It's still buggy!! Does anyone know what is the reason of that graphical bug and a possible fix? thanks a lot

1 Facebook installs normal I'm using it.
Flash player need update from google play and then works correctly.
2. Play store is ok with screenshots.
3. Weather widget is working. Maybe you hadn't connection when you try to search location.
4. I had no force closes from 1 day using.
Only problem for me that exist is google calendar synchronization and video recorder that I'm sure that it can be fixed.

1.Yup Flash updated, Working now
2.Force closes Solved, fixed permissions,now everything's fine:good:
Persisting Problems :
1. Facebook still not installing, phone simply hotboots i.e. from the boot animation screen
2. Play Store is now showing screenshots but in one 1 of 10 chances that too a few not all
3. Weather Widget still not working. Dont know waht happened to it. Neither is the world clock showing weather now

for Facebook try to uninstall FBiX Post Viewer 1.0.A.1.12 with Titanium backup. Mine is freeze and I dont have bug with Facebook.

Fbix post viewer was the first one
Still the phone hotboots

how did you fixed permissions? in recovery there is no that option (in earlier versions there was), mybackup keep crashing when start and dont know what to do?

Installation:
If you have locked bootoader - ignore first step, you already have latest kernel built-in ROM package. You may probably want to install LB kernel if you don't have CWM6 recovery.
ROM will wipe your data, be warned.
-> Get FeraKenel v25 and install it.
-> Boot-up to CWM6 Recovery & just straightly install ROM following AROMA installation wizard.
-> After installation, boot your phone, pass setup wizard and wait 2 minutes. Reboot again.
-> On second boot wait not less than 2 minutes again & reboot.
-> Done. Do a reboot after you configured your phone. Hit 'Thanks' button and rate this thread if you like my work or consider donating me to let me to have a good dinner. :good:
