I think that's what I'm using at the moment but can't remember for sure. There any way of checking?
Edit: i am using xlucos kernal gonna reinstall rom in a sec with stock kernal, thanks for the advice, hopefully it works.

Anyone find a good solution to the download failures in google play with this ROM? I still find that I have to clear the cache between almost every update or download from the Play Store. The most effective app for doing this is "ClearCache", but it is laborious to do this almost every day with all the app updates that keep coming up. Other than this inconvenience, I find the ROM is working very nicely with very few crashes and few delays.

On top of my nightly system crash any volume adjustment in YouTube while casting causes a complete YouTube and system crash requiring a hard reset!!!!

I feel your pain. You aren't going to like the solution. Full wipe and reinstall with default settings worked for me.

I do this and no issue, there is surely an option to disable this in a menu.

A bug? : If you choose TABs launcher, icon text on drawer is too big

Hi,

i tried to install Battle Islands, but i seem to get an error everytime ( with stock rom it works )

I've already looked in the build.prop, but i couldn't find a thing.

Anyone experiencing the same problem?

ps. im using the latest rom.

I believe, during 1 of the install steps, there's a choice for what shut-down animation you want. Maybe try a dirty flash and choose a different one?

Pretty sure this is an option during the aroma install process.

Or try gravity box xposed module, it has button options.

1st i'm experienci g deep slep issues where the tablet wont wake up after a long time being idle.

2) i'm having issues with netflix now. It plays at double speed... any idea ?

I am having none of those issues. Maybe try and reflash with a full wipe including internal sdcard as there might be conflicting resadue from older roms left that r conflicting with the new ROM.

Hardware Keys Issue

I was running Hyperdrive 4.1 and I had an issue every now and then after I took the tablet off of the charger where the hardware keys (menu, home, and back) won't work so I have to wake it up with the power button. The hardware keys remain unusable until I reboot the tablet.

So I clean flashed to Hyperdrive 5.1 and chose the stock permissive kernel in the hopes that it would fix this issue but I'm finding the same thing every now and then on 5.1 as well. Any thoughts?

can't brightness adjust brightness adjust all

I tried to reboot and change settings but the brightness level never change .. I had the rom for about 3 weeks now and it ll worked fine til today.. I just rebooted my tablet and after that I couldn't change the brightness level at all. Nothing works. What is wrong and what can I do?

EDIT:
I also tried to reinstall the rom without wiping any data but no difference at all... =(

And now also:
Every time the tablet has been locked I can't unlock it again. THe screen stays black but the buttoms lights goes on. So everytime I locked it I need to reboot the tablet to be able to use it again.

NEW EDIT:
I tried to reinstall with wipeing everything BUT it still doesn't work. If the screen is locked I still can't unlock it without rebooting. I hear it is on and I hear the sound of its getting unlocked but yeah...
And I still can't change the brightness level at all....

Hi

I was using this ROM since the first versions, til yesterday my device got stuck while rebooting. After several failed boots, I did a factory reset, wiped everything downloaded the latest version and re-installed the ROM.

Now all I get is a black screen while attempting to boot system. I can't restore my backup, when rebooting I get the same black screen.

I can get back to TWRP 2.7.1.0 recovery, but when trying to wipe, I get "Failed to wipe dalvik. Unable t mound cache. Unable to mount system". etc

When I try to reinstall the ROM, I get "Unable to mount system"

I'm close to binning my device. Can anyone help?

If your missing the brightness bar in your drop down notification bar you can install a app in play store called night mode. I had a problem similar to yours and couldn't adjust my brightness . I had checked in settings to show brightness slider but it still wasn't there. After searching around a while on Internet I found to install night mode, open the app up and the brightness bar came back and I was able to adjust it again. Hope this helps, I was also on hyperdrive rom.

The settings was there, I didn't change anything but it just didn't work anymore. Still on 100% brightness. The bar was there but no matter how much i slided it nothing changed..
Anyways, I slept and when I woke up and used my tablet again it all worked again - without me doing/changing anything. Really weird.

Power Down

I am unsure if this is answered. I am probably asking it a different way than its been previously posted.
Iknow that i am having my own issues with my device and battery life, i have come close to narrowing them down. But- I do want to know. How do you power the tablet down. I want to have it comletely shutdown, plugged in and charging.... HOw do you do it? Every time the device has been shutdown, once its plugged in it starts powering up.
One of my issues is, while it is draining the battery at crazy rates, itll go into a power loop boot.

So thanks for the help.

Sounds like you are using the wrong power adapter or your tablet is faulty as if on and charging it should still be charging. If it's draining while charging then your device is faulty.
I can leave mine for a week or more before I need to charge it so there is nothing wrong rom wise.

You can't turn it off while charging unless you find a mod for it.
