I've been out of the CM game for a while on my One XL. Finally come back from Sense.

Are there are custom Kernels working with CM10.1?

there is just one that I know of and its jac0b.b1 kernel, but the only thing that it has is s2w
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2207325

And for the rom i cant seem to get the pie controls working. In the settings pie says that it is enabled when Extended desktop is active, but i cant seem to be able to activate it through the power menu, it just brings me to the system settings? am i missing something or doing something wrong?

Thanks for picking up where h8rift got shut down Cory. 3-25 works pretty good for me although I had a reboot once yesterday when I picked it up. Don't have anything that auto updates, unless google trumped my settings. Downloading 3-26 right now.

Im not all that impressed with the pie controls anyway. I played around with LMT for a couple days and that worked OK. Would take some time to get the ui down though.
Thanks again for the crack flashing fix Cory! I think a lot of us were having major withdrawals.

Sent from my HOX w/CM10.1 4.2.2 s-off :)

Yeah, CM's Pie is still very early in development! But no problem, I love building. As long as you guys enjoy it, I'll do it :)

Here's a link to the LMT Launcher app thread for those of you who want to try it out! http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1330150

Is there anyway to fix the screen tearing issue without having to change the settings in developers options or flashing a custom kernel?

Loving this ROM mate...has been super stable for me. No issues at all :good:

Isn't that a custom kernel issue, and not ROM related?

screen tearing or graphical glitching started originally in the first CM10 build and was fixed somtime in Nov of last year. Then the 10.1 with what I believe was with project butter or vsync the tearing came back and my opinion was not as bad as it was in the initial 10 build, Nor do I see it hardly at all since the last kernel change h8rift put out about a month ago. Folks have mentioned this still being prevalent. Most believe that disabling the disabling HW overlays (always use GPU for screen compositing) in developer options helps with this. I have read that this is placebo effect and furthermore affects battery life. Not sure how much truth there is to that last comment. Perhaps someone with more skills could elaborate on that? scrolling seems to be the only slight graphical tearing I have seen.

It should be noted the screen tearing on CM10 last fall was a WebKit issue whereas this scrolling "tearing" maybe kernel related. I think the use of the term "screen tearing" is misused though. Anyone who was on CM10 in November knows what tearing looks like (whole chunks of the screen displaced). This is a minor inconvenience if anything. I'm not sweating it at all, it'll get fixed whenever h8, rohan and the other devs figure it out.

Its been fixed by one of the custom kernels. The framerate was changed to 57hz as sense. With hardware overlays turned off. Its smooth. So far its the best fix out of them all. I tried all the kernels and the standard kernel with cm10.1.

Its even compiled with the linaro tool chain. Its also the fastest kernel.

Have a weird problem where the new Apollo won't play this one album I just put on my phone. Other music players have no issues though.
