Tangerine Dream


This is a Dark, Glowing Orange and Black Theme that I made. These are my College Colors as well. Everything has been themed by myself and many hours have been put into this project to get everything right. I hope you like it.


Warning: I highly recommend that you flash this theme after booting up from a fresh install of the ROM and gapps. If you ever have any problems with a nandroid restore or bootloop: Just Reboot into Recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache, and re-flash your ROM and gapps. Then flash the theme again!


Tangerine Dream Includes:
  • Block Battery (With Counting Animation)
  • Center Clock Mod
  • Stock Roboto Font
  • Orange Selections
  • Orange Overscroll Glow
  • Black Windows
  • Orange Apps With Themed Icons! (MMS, Dialer, Calculator, Calender, Gmail, Google Voice, Google Talk, YouTube, And The Google Play Store)
  • Inverted Orange Contacts (Build From Source Code!)
  • White and Orange Themed Keyboard (Has Dark Orange Key Popups!)
  • Flying Windows
  • Updated Status Bar and Power Buttons
  • Black And Orange Settings
  • All Orange Lock Screen Mod (Built From Source As Well)
  • Themed Recent Apps Mod
  • New Loading Icon
  • Orange Easter Egg

This theme will only work for CM9 Beta 2 and AOKP Milestone 5.2!


Just wipe cache and dalvik cache, then flash.

Save some battery with inverted apps!

Awesome awesome! I'm diggin this. I have the Terminator font on my laptop. Someone should incorporate that into a theme. :cough: ;) Great job on this!

Oh and you might want to start directing your downloads to the I.A.P site... just copy what you have typed here and paste it on the site with the download link.. and link that page here as a "download." ;) gotta help promote the site =P.

Lol, I think I will just let Big Goron take care of the green theme. His is looking good so far.

OMG I love this! The thing I missed most about CM7 was the orange octane theme. I was running straight stock CM9 until I saw this. Great work OP! Only thing I see missing is themed Swype. ;-) love the flying windows by the way!!

This theme is tastey; feels like I'd get my daily allowance of vitamin C using it :D

Might have to give this a run just for a nice change up from stock cm9, funny I didn't know I even liked orange

Hmm how hard would it be to combine this and your blue theme lol a little mix and match (I'm a Bears fan btw lol) but i think it might look cool

Glad everybody is liking the theme so far. Orange was definitely a fun color to do.

Really diggin this theme Gooch. Big SF Giants fan been waiting for orange for a while. Just an FYI, a Gmail update just broke your orange notification theming, it comes up gray.

Edit: and the app isn't black and orange anymore either.
