AND FLASH TEH SUPPORT FILE INCLUDED AS AN ATTACHMENT. I ALSO DO NOT OWN THE DEVICE SO I AM BLINDLY DEVELOPING IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO HELP FIX BUGS AND BE A PART OF THE TEAM THEN PLEASE PM ME OR MENTION IN THE THREAD. SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE FLASH THE SUPPORT FILE AFTER EVERY OTA

The RandomROM is a LEGENDARY Line of ROMs made by me Dr. Globbyglob. I wish to have a corporation, but no-one is volunteering anyway,
so there you have it. These ROMs have all the features of a Sense ROM (soon going to do CyanogenMod etc.)
and bloated stuff such as widgets, ringtones etc. to keep all the WICKED features and
also have RETURDED speeds and performance. I spent ages on this port so it
comes to you bugfree. THIS ROM HAS CURRENTLY GOT ROM MANAGER OTA
SUPPORT, BUT SOON IT WILL CHANGE TO GOO.IM WHEN I FIND THE UPLOAD BUTTON.

Before Flashing mount system and data!!! And flash this after Install!!!! If it don't work then flash this first instead.
Flash this ROM first then flash teh latest OTA! (If needed)

ALL OTA's are included in upper versions e.g. 1.1.2 is also included in 1.1.7 they're still there

OTA v1.1.2 - Added stock Browser and Tweaks, now found goo.im upload area and now OTA is working OPTIONAL
OTA v1.1.7 - Added returded speed mods and now it is ridiculously RAPID, and very smooth RECOMMENDED
OTA v1.2.1 - More SmoothnessRECOMMENDED
OTA v1.2.2 - Added CPU 1024 default+smooth RECOMMENDED

Good news new rom

I flashed it but in the all of time the rom was in landscape mode no-matter how I rotate the phone.

How long did it take on the first boot? I tried and waited like 30-45 min and it was stuck on the htc one (white screen) and adb did not report any device attached.

Hey bradley, u need to flash desire z kernel with this rom. Because the kernel that this rom is shipped is a DHD kernel. That's the reason you aren't able to boot.
I had flashed the HUSHI kernel by neo2SHYAlien, just after flashing randomROM V1.0.1.
And eventually it booted.

To fix the orientation and keyboard problems you need to apply a fix in android.policy.jar in framework. Take a look at my answer from September last year In this guide: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1608464

It will explain how to fix the problem Completely and also how to get backlight working.

If you want some help, we can work together on fixing the bugs. As I said it's not such a big thing if you're a bit familiar w/ decompiling jars and know the basics of smali. I have an old DZ so I can test builds directly...

Ok everyone, guess what....????
I'm running RandomROM in my desire Z.
And the landscape problem, keyboard problem is gone. Even the keyboard backlight always on is gone...

So, I have made a flashable zip for RandomROM. If the thread owner wishes, I can upload it.
I have PM'ed him. Waiting for his reply.

But i had some problems with built.prop that you had provided in vision.zip.
So i have edited built.prop from main rom and just names of desire hd as desire z and ace to vision. And settings section such as cpu,ram,camera details.
Thats it, no more changes were made.
Thats still yours only.

-Flash hushi kernel or any sense kernel. (I prefer hushi kernel.) Credits to neo2SHYAlien for the hushi kernel.

-After full setup of rom, reboot to recovery and flash updating_vision_drivers.zip
