Default [ROM] Stock FC09 ROOTED&THEMED

Hola Forum!

I bring you a STOCK FC09 ROOTED AND THEMED ROM! this rom was stock and I themed it on my own. The thing is that I have not tested it yet. So if any of you guys/gals out there want to help me out with this, please test it for me. I really would like feedback as to if any or everything is themed. Once I get feedback and fix whatever needs to be fixed, I will post another thread announcing updates, etc. Please follow the directions below to flash this rom. it is supposed to be themed to ICS 4.0.4
I DID NOT BUILD THIS ROM! I JUST THEMED IT! ALL CREDIT GOES TO THE ORIGINAL DEVELOPER!!

INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Download the rom from the link below
2) Place it on your MicroSD Card
3) Now if you have any data that you would like to backup, use Titanium Backup or do a Nandroid in Recovery
4) Reboot into Recovery Mode(CWM,TWRP. Prefer CWM 5.0.2.7)
5) Wipe Cache Partition, Dalvik Cache, and Wipe Data
6) Now, go to "Install Zip From SD Card", then "Choose Zip From SD Card"
7) Now just navigate to where you placed the ROM zip
8)Just hit "yes" to install and it will begin. The installation may take a minute or two, so please be patient!

You should now be running a Stock Rooted FC09 ROM that is themed to ICS! If it is not for some reason, please PM me so I can fix it and post an update!

Maybe this should be in the themes section..? Have u actually done anything to the ROM itself? I think we already had a stock FC09 ROM... but I may be wrong. Anyway I'm going to try this out for you.

if all you did was theme it... its not a real custom rom. You should have just put the theme in the themes section.

That's what I was saying.
But after flashing this I realized it shouldn't even be in themes.

This is what happened
I wiped everything 3x and flashed this and rebooted.
You seem to have 2 boot anis, one is sprints stock one and the other is the "android" writing that lights up. The first time I flashed this and booted up I got half of both. Then once it opened the screen the status bar FC'ed and it wouldn't close it and let me continue, it just kept rebooting.
Then I went back to recovery and wiped everything again and flashed again and this time I only got the stock sprint boot up but stll the status bar FC. There's something wrong with your systemui. You should take a look at it.

But from the looks of the homescreen without seeing the status bar, it looked completly stock. I'm not sure what the "ICS" part is, as you have in the files name "FC09ICSTHEME". But here's my advice. Try and get an epic to test on before posting anything on here, or at least pm someone that's willing to test it for you or post it in the general section until someone volunteers to test it and if all goes well you can make a whole thread for it. And the second thing is put whatever you make in the right section. If this is only a theme then it shouldn't be in the development section. And if its only a theme, then there's no need for it to be almost 200mb. The largest theme I've seen is 50mb.

sorry guys. Im new to this. And there is a stock FC09 rom that someone else on here created and He told me and gave consent that I could use his stock rom for themeing, etc. The ROM actually has 2 boot anis, not too sure why. I didnt build it initially. But what i will do is, try to remove this thread for now, i will work on it and get some people to test it and then re post. I am actually looking to begin rom development, so since you guys are all senior members, do you have any ideas for the theme work in that, etc. please let me know! thanks

Well when you want to make a theme only try and take out everything that's not needed like all the extra apps.
Basically what you would want to do is extract systemui.apk, framework-res.apk, tw framework-res.apk, and if needed lidroid-res.apk from the ROM and then once your done theming them you can use uot kitchen to put them all in one zip.
And for ideas I can't really help you because I'm trying to make a theme too and am stuck as well lol. So I need ideas myself. But you can search around and maybe port a theme into a ROM.

But for now can someone call spiderman to close this or remove it or something lol?
And you can pm me or anyone else around here if you need help with anything. And if you need me to test anything I could do that for you. And if you need help I can try and figure out what went wrong in your systemui.apk. but I'm at work now, so maybe tomorrow or later tonight lol.

I go out for a few hours and all hell breaks loose!
Droid, you cannot simply theme a stock ROM especially sight unseen, and release it as a ROM. You release just the flashable theme. When I said you could use my stock ROM for themeing I assumed you meant as a base to make the theme. And when you credit someone you don't say "The Developer".
OH and never make new threads for fixes and updates, they stay in the same thread.
