wipe data on the gallery app and the camera app through settings/applications, or with titanium back up should fix it

Go to Settings > Applications > Gallery/Camera App > Wipe Data

No flashing involved

Hmm, this may have just revealed the root of the problem. When I go into Settings > Apps, I can find Gallery and wipe its data. But Camera doesn't show up anywhere on the list, even in the 'All' section. It seems the app may not be installed.

Nope, in JB and up the Camera is included in the Gallery.apk file, so you're good

See above, just clear data on the gallery app and it "should"work... unless the room you're on had problems with camera, name sure it's not a bug listed in the op

To make it as short as possible...

I've had 4, yes 4 Samsung galaxy s3's all on sprint model sph-L710. I started with liquid smooth rc7 and have tried every version since on each phone. I've also tried CarbonROM. And I've the same or very similar issues on all ROMs and phones. The issue is the camera may work for a bit upon ROM flashing, but shortly after the camera will freeze, or just reboot, or with the latest version I get a message cannot connect to camera. It works perfectly on all other ROMs other than liquid smooth and carbonROM, and of course these are the only ROMs I want. The camera works on jelly bomb, stock rooted, the peoples ROM, and the dozen others I've tried. I've spent hundreds of hours over the past 6 months trying to get either liquid smooth or now carbonrom to have a functioning camera and have reached my wits end. I would soo love to use either ROM, in my onion there are no better ROMs available. But no camera = useless ROM. I've tried several different gapps, different camera and gallery apks, I've flashed and reflashedthe ROM, and tried all different ways to install the camera and gallery app. Please help. I'm ready to pull my hair out!!!
