I have a strong feeling we don't have NFC, plus it wasn't listed as a spec. But gsmarena has it listed for our phone. Just wondering if we have NFC, i know it's a new tech which is not bad to have.

Nope our model doesn't have it.
Its really not a big deal you'll have your next phone before NFC becomes a worth while feature.

Could it be the fact that sprint came up with their wallet app that's why they disregarded the new tech?
no because the sprint nexus s 4g has nfc and google wallet. sprint is the first carrier to support nfc in the States.
