Lightbulb Bluetooth : delete paired device

Howto delete paired bluetooth devices ?

The simple way :
  • Settings > Wireless & networks > Bluetooth setting
  • press 2 second on device you want to remove
  • Choose menu item Unpair
  • Make sure the device is off or out of reach
  • Scan for devices
  • Now the device no more appear in the list.

Unfortunately O3D keep secretly its configuration

If like me, you must remake the first handshake between your two devices, the simple way is not the right way.

To really get a fresh start at your devices pairing, you must delete, rename or move the file where is keep the configuration of all your bluetooth devices. (you need root privilege to manipulate this file). This file is :

/data/data/btips/TI/BtDeviceDb.ddb

It is a binary file than it is not easy to remove the configuration of only one device.

I know no hazard, but you may move this file securely and replace it at its right place to recover your old configuration.

If I was helpfull, push THANKS button, please. (I need my ten)

I don't think so, but I'm only Junior Member.

My idea was to help in setting up some popular accessories, namely bluetooth devices.
