[HELP] Network Issue on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3100, SIM not working

Hey Guys,

I had brought this TAB from a friend with a confusing SIM or Network issue. Actually this Tab wont detect any CARRIER other than TATA DOCOMO. I am sure that it has no network lock. Not only this, even on TATA DOCOMO it's sometimes loosing network, when I got a call or while using Internet.
I have searched on XDA and found no thread regarding this issue. But some where I read that flashing latest firmware via Odin may overcome the particular SIM issue. I am just afraid, if I flash the whole firmware, It may be possible that even TATA DOCOMO wont work, then this tab is use less for me as I have no wifi around me.

It cant be a hardware issue, if it is then no CARRIER should work. I really dont want to visit Samsung care ATM, as I am short on money & this TAB is out of warranty.

Any kind of help is appreciated.
