whhou, really usefull, missed tool! tnx very, very much for a great update!
2. little bugs:
1. If make a folder with MS functions, like bluetooth, cellular and wifi settings, i get 2x of this as icon and 2x in the folder
2. after edit the app go not close, have to press the backbutton multiple times
I second fixing that, please, that's what I've also suggested in my previous suggestion post at #4:
4. Exit app button
If I press back (many times) it screws up something in the app. I even lost the "Games" list I had because of that (while editing the list).

Hello, this is amazing app, i missed something like that. But I want to ask you for something, I possible with this system to make imediatelly response after pressing it? Because it took 1-2 secs on my Omnia 7 to open(. So if this can be reduced? Thanks
Hi, i'm using folder on my Unlocked HTC 7 Pro!
But I'm wondering why not every App installed on my phone is shown in the App List?
Some of those that are not shown are official Marketplace Apps, others are "homebrew" would be great if you can fix that..
furthermore you can link the folder app in a folder but you can't can run it from there (probably because it is all read running if you are in a "folder".. but I'd like to to that anyway )
Hi Jax, I installed the new version, and it works in non rooted "version". After toggling Folders in WP7 Root tools to trusted, running Folders, it stays for about 8-9 second and then it quits to applist. Untoggling makes Folders work again in non rooted version. Any idea what could be wrong? I do have tons of games installed, could that be the reason?
On launch in root mode, it parses your installed apps and copies their data into the iso store. Sounds like one of your apps might be broken.
I'll see about adding in some failsafes to figure this out.
Just wondering if you have made any progress on this problem, as I have the same issue. The older versions have worked fine for me. This new one, I was having the same issue as above (quitting to app list after a black screen for several seconds.
Initially, I was able to get the app to work, simply by hitting the back button at the bottom. It would say "Resuming" and then load. I was able to make 2 folders successfully (and they run fine) but since then, I have been unable to get this version to load again, either with or without being "trusted" on Root Tools.
I have a Sprint Arrive, running Ansar's fully unlocked ROM 8773.
I tried uninstalling the "Battery Status" app, but that did not help.
The other Homebrew apps I have installed
Nokia Drive
Adanced Config
appSiege
Bazaar
BT File transfer
CacheClearer
Nokia Creative Studio
Device Reset
Digital Power (ver 0.5)
File Browser
Prior version of Folders (on phone with website and manual app add) - still works.
ie+
metro theme
metro facelift
Nokia Maps
Orientation lock
Screen capturer
Supreme shortcuts
TouchXperience
TouchXplorer
WebServer Htc Root
WinTT
WM Device Center
WP7 Root Tools
WPH tweaks
XAP Deployer
Thanks!
HTC Arrive Until Sprint gets a new one 8773 New Tech Tango ROM V1 and lovin' it!!!
Is it possible to hide all those applications from the application list, that have been moved into a folder? I'm sorry if this feature is already available and I just didn't find it!

So, I'm having a problem. I restored my Lumia 900 after the latest update from Nokia because it screwed up my data and wifi connection. Then I ran the update again. I went to add an app and now the folders app crashes when I add some apps (not all), but most. I've tried reinstalling folders completely and reinstalling and it still does it. I can get some apps set up and it will be fine. Then I go to add another app and as soon as I choose the app from the picklst, Folders will just exit. What else can I do or has anyone else experienced this before?
Ok, so after much messing around. I think the apps themselves become corrupt as far as Folders is concerned or something else. Some of the apps I was adding that kept causing Folders to crash, I just simply uninstalled, then added them back into Folders (which it didn't crash for some reason). Then just reinstalled them and everything worked fine. A few of them, I had to add an app first that didn't cause Folders to crash, and then add the culprit app back into the list. Don't ask me why, but it seems like it's working fine now.

I really like Folders, but after a short time with the new version I reverted to v 1.0.0.0. Here's why:
In the older version, when you made a folder of system apps (white icons) the icons appeared clean. In the new version they have black borders, which doesn't fit well with WP7. It also doesn't look very good.
In the older version, you could change your theme, make a folder and change it back again in order to get a tile that was a different colour. In the new version, all tiles are updated to be the same as the theme colour.
I'm very happy with the app - it's brilliant! I prefer the old one though :)
Oh, I tried to add MetroTube by GUID. Nothing seemed to happen but afterwards Folders wouldn't start and that tile wouldn't run. My other Folders tile continued to work fine though. I had to remove and re-install it.
