I had T-Mobile a couple years ago and had no service just about everywhere where I live. I bought an unlocked galaxy nexus off a guy that went to Google io. Since the SIM is only a dollar I figured I'd give T-Mobile another shot and see if they've improved since before. It has. I have a signal everywhere and not just a signal, but a great connection. Even inside my house which is something Verizon and Sprint could not deliver. Went ahead and ported my Verizon number and activated the $30 plan and couldn't be more satisfied. This is the way to go. If I ever think I need more minutes, I'll just load $10-$15 on my account. If it ever starts costing me more than $45 a month I'll go to Straight Talk. Thanks to this thread & the pan your cell service thread for the inspiration Ann's motivation to do the math and figure out just how much i could save. I will have saved enough to buy a new phone quickly even after paying the etf. As soon as the next unlocked Nexus comes out, I'll buy.
