You were right, the DBs are the same. Just scared me because I got a message asking to go into global mode when I haven't before.

Yeah, that would scare me to. Never got a Global mode warning. Maybe you just hit a poor signal spot for a moment. You never know with these things, lol

I wanted to post some battery numbers in case anyone was still on the fence with this ROM....though I can't for the life of me understand why. It really is about perfect. Anywho.

I'm running the permethius kernal (pegasus?) Anyways...nonstock. I actually have it underclocked to 1400 upper range. I am also running Lux brightness in dynamic mode.

I've been running this for about a week now and am consistantly getting 12-14 hrs on a charge with 6-7 hrs of screen time.

Thats right......6-7 hours of screentime.....truly amazing.

Hey Scott,
I know you said before that the developers of simplistic framework and/or omega rom have contacted you to use their work in your rom...I have tried contacting them to allow beanstown and others to port their omega rom over to our note 2...I was wondering if you would like to help those guys port it over and try and contact indie or legend from omega rom and simplistic framework to try and convince them to give permission to allow them to port the rom...I have already tried and got no response...ill leave the link to the thread I started...thanks for the consideration and as always continue the great work!!!!

I finally got unlocked and want to flash your ROM. You recommend factory reset and not clear cache? I do not understand the options selection in Recovery. On the Moto ROMs I have flashed, I just cleared caches and factory reset and did nothing else interactively.

I would wipe cache, dalvik cache and factory reset. Then flash. Factory reset wipes cache and data so it's a little redundant but it makes me feel better

I'm running this version with the following settings somebody else posted:

Device Profile: Generic ICS/JB (wlan0)
Setup Method: Netd-NDC (master)
Send Netd Max Client Cmd - Checked
Wifi-driver reload 2 - Checked
Routing fix - Checked

Works great :good:

I used the tether app thats in the setrings. I'm not sure you need any third party apps.

Mine works...in the settings-more-tethering....turn it on, configure and you're all set.

Nahhh... I got enough to do besides port somoene elses ROM to this device, lol.

Sorry man. If they need help porting anything they can reach out to me. I'll help any other RD as much as I can as those before me have helped me get where I am.

Its what I do... And then I Factory resret again after I flash just in case I forgot to do tit hte first time.

Scott, I was wondering what your thoughts were on disabling scrolling cache. I assume you have scrolling cache enabled. Is there any noticeable performance increase when disabling it? If so, do you think it's possible to have it disabled in future releases?

Scott the programs I'm having the problems with are scramble with friends and words with friends. They work if I'm on wifi. I'm open to suggestions.

What kind of problems are you having with those particular games? Normally streaming data apps require wifi. Do you have wifi-only on? If so, turn it off in the game settings.

So they just dont work on Mobile Data? Have you read the reviews of the app to see if this is an issue? Do you have any firewall or aniti-virus software installed? Do other apps that use Mobile Data work?
