Well, you'd bet better uninstalling properly but as it can't be done either delete their .apk files and reboot and clear dalvik cache, or flash the rom and before flashing gapps .zip delete the .apk files you don't want.
Just wandering if im still s-on what will happen if I try this ROM

There is common bug about dark screen (screen is off) when screen lock and incoming call?
And some issues with shortcuts on the lock screen - some apps uses wrong shortcut. As example I take quickpic but system setup gallery.
P.s As I understand from dev topic bug with gps fixed?

GPS fixed, can you share some details about your setup, your bugs are very uncommon.
I'm using MX a lot, never happens, I've already mentioned this, provide a freaking logcat.
I don't know, maybe it's a sign of god for you to stop g+, but more likely it's a simple crash of the app that can be sorted out by reinstalling or logging the issui if it persists.
I have HTC Desire, 4ext recovery, ext2 1024 MB Partition (but as i remember last time there need to be ext3, maybe some ROM convert it without me).
/system - 250 MB
/data - 150 MB
/cache - 40 MB
before install your ROM I wipe all (data, cache, dalvik, format /system, format /boot).
After that install ROM, gapps, boot and make a2sd install (y-n-y).
After that I setup all needed software. All runs good, but after few days of using i found this bug - when somebody call to me, screen es locked and off. I need to press power button (ringtone after that is off) phone give me lock-screen, after unlock I get interface with incoming call and chose answer or not. On Russian forum 4pda.ru some guys wrote that is common feature of 4.2 Android - Locked screen due incoming call.
But this bug not every time. And I can't understand his nature.
About MX Player.
I start MX, chose folder with movie and tap to play. Screen is flickering (one big frame and 2 small in bottom of screen). Movie start to play. After that I try to make sound louder (slide on screen, or with the hard buttons on the side of phone). And I get pop-up window that MX Player has error. I click OK and movie is brake and MX get back to movie list. And this repeat again and again (i exit from MX and start again, about 5 - 7 times). BINGO! MX didn't get error and I can make sound louder. The same gone with HikiPlayer Pro (audio player).
About Shortcuts.
In Lock-sreen settings I chose shortcuts - phone, sms, notes (MobisleNotes), Dolphin browser or Photo-camera (I was wrong, there be Photo-camera not QuickPic). And I get small icons on the lock-screen under the clock. And instead Phone i get Contacts icon, instead Photo-camera i get Gallery.
Is there feature of 4.2 or you don't make ring on lock-screen with shortcuts like in previous PA 2.54-2? There is would be more comfortable make ring with shortcuts, because when phone in my pocket this small shortcut's can be pressed and start app.
I didn't install Logcat now, and change ROM because I was in short travel and need GPS. Now I try to check all this thing on 3.00 version.
P.s. Can You make option for disable widgets on the lock screen?
WoH, on 3.00 i can't now found bug with MX. But My Screen on few minutes was off when i installing apps.

Awesome work - But a problem
I tested this rom for 4 hours and didnt have a single force close issue. But i felt the rom was laggy in many circumstances. One of which is the scrolling of app drawer and open/close animations for sms/people app etc. I also tried Apex, Nova launchers and the result is the same. Is there any tweak i am missing which could contribute to the overall smoothness of this wonderful ROM ?
And the million dollar question. Is there a way to disable the PIE ?

WoH, I attached zip archieve to my previous post. There all log files withdifferent bugs of blocked screen.
Also, I try use gps with 3G. And gps work well but 3G didn't start. Button on dock and icon didn't changed. But in settings 3G is on. I attach screenshot

I've flashed paranoid 3.00+ yesterday. It is running much smoother than 2.54.
But the calculator app crashes as soon i open it. Does anyone has the same problem?
Another NOOB question: In the post it says to type in commands in the terminal after reboot to activate a2sd. I have only typed "a2sd install" But I couldn't type in the other commands because i have no clue what to to type.

try any file manager with root access to file system (Total Commander, ES File explorer, CM File exlorer, or other). And just remove apk files of google apps in this folder /sd-ext/gapps/system/app.

Unfortunately my version isn't the latest (PA 3.0) so i want to update it. Is there any possibility to install the newest version without loosing personal data and settings? is maybe the preinstalled GooManager made for it?

Very nice ROM, probably best of JB!
Almost everything works fine, main problems for me are next:
- sometimes can't answer my call - just dark screen or no response from tuch
- calendar fix can't be flashed - get error. have to install other calendar from market - work and sync is ok, but have two apps
- music sound disappears sometimes, reboot help only
- all gmail notification sounds (except default inbox) use front speaker - sounds VERY silent

Is m2sd good for you? If no, why?I know there are some users out there that don't like m2sd, please send me your opinion. I always recommended it, but as I got a lot of things sorted out, chances are I could include m2sd or another a2sd script.

Android 4.2 apps?I actually didn't want to modify too much, but the new clock does really look nice and I really like the new keyboard.

PA 2.99 is
a) Not open source
b) Based on 4.2
c) Based on AOSP
d) A very very early test build
Now explanations:
a) I don't know why it's not os, but I dislike their current attitude aswell (You're not allowed to include paprefs.apk into PACman for example)
b) Android 4.2 is the worst thing google had on their servers so far, sorry, but that's a fact, apart from "little bugs" it's unstable and laggy, even on galaxy nexus, the improvements are little, the plus on the end-user side is minimal aswell (links to settings aka quicksettings & a (opinion: crappy) new lockscreen)
c) As you might know our device isn't in AOSP, do the basic hardware won't work. I could use CM / EV repos, but that might be quite buggy, I haven't tested it, but it will need a lot of work if it's a good idea at all
d) That's quite obvious
I'm working on CM10.1 because I think Google will fix a lot of issues in 4.2.1, they've got (more or less buildable, actually more fixable) sources on their github, we'll see about PA as soon as they publish 2.99/3.0+
Evervolv is working on hardware repos, thanks a lot to drewis aka texasice, he's doing a great job.2
If that stops you, I'm sorry, but I'm working (theoretically) on Android 4.2.
In fact you can just open te whole message, works fine.
Android 4.2 changes a lot of things you might not be aware of, I really am lost on the display and audio at the moment.
I could hack around audio for now (to get a first build), but there are massive problems with hwcomposer.
I won't dig into it too much, but hwc is a new feature of 4.0+. Until now, hwc was 0.x, but for 4.2 it's 1.x and it seems to require proper vsync.
Some of you think "that's great, finally butter" I can already tell it won't happen unless anyone wants to rewrite the whole kernel (or parts of it) and test if the hardware can handle it at all.
We'll see what happens, to be honest we'll have to wait for drewis, maybe they descide to bring up 0.x and see if it works (I hope so, I think it's the fastest solution, otherwise we're in trouble)
So it's like:
- New Kernel
- Luck (for the 0.x hwc hack
- Magic (maybe CM devs or EV guys have a brilliant idea)
or my favourite idea:
- No 4.2

Don't set it up on boot, add it later in the settings. If data is enabled on first boot, Google assumes you've got a data plan
I'm using ROM toolbox pro, but there are free apps aswell. I saw an overlay in EV sources that includes it into the power menu, maybe I'll include that some time.
